Noticing the Trend of the left desperately trying to keep the focus on Trump.

Without him to galvanize their base the are fractured and many are simply receeding into the woodwork.
Some posters here fall into two categories.

1. They know this and as a result desperately seek any story about Trump.

Or

2. They are just randomly stricken with TDS at odd times. Kind of like how your cat suddenly realizes he needed to be in the other room as it frantically jumps up and runs.

Without Trump to take the focus off their current disasters they are likely doomed to lose in 2022.

That last acknowledgment is the reason I hope Trump does NOT run in 2024.
We have several great possible candidates who won't ignite the left like Trump would.

Trump keeps himself in the news.

Most Republicans say he's still the leader of the party.

Until Trump goes away, the Left won't ignore him
The DNC needs him for support, and the media needs him for ratings.

As a result, he will always be with us, much like Lennon embalmed at the Kremlin.

I admire your optimism over future elections. I'm sorry to say that I don't share it. They cheated the system blatantly in 2020 and then managed the aftermath such that they can and will do it again and again.
Trump, for all of his faults, was the right man at the right time and I think he could be as much a force of nature in 2024 as he was in 2016 AND 2020. I will go to my grave with the certainty that he won by a large margin in 2020. The panicked scrambling to stop audits is proof of it.
To be clear, I voted for Cruz in the primary of 2016. Trump isn't a Conservative and I was a bit leery of him. He made a move or two on 2A that didn't please me but on the whole, the man tried harder to put average citizens first than any president in my lifetime.
He reminded us that the insanity we were seeing from the Left was NOT the best part of America. I'm not usually a pessimist but after seeing how the established power in DC managed to relentlessly come at him for 4 years I realize that this nation is no longer the one I was born into in 1960.
We are increasingly paralyzed by warring elements, lawlessness is spreading like a cancer, and the institutions that we could once have faith in are now filled with activists that want to weaken and destroy the country.
The Left is trying to use its control of media, education, entertainment, and the structure of power in DC to choke this country into submission and nothing short of TRUE Secession will return us to Constitutional governance.
Here's to the New Constitutional Confederacy! :)
Because it's a cult.

As long as Donald Trump is in control of the Republican Party, we will be talking about him. When the Trumpists cease to blackmail the Republican Party with forming an American First MAGA Party and taking the Cult with them, and threatening to primary anybody who whispers any dissent against him, he'll keep himself in the news, which is his intention.

Unless and until the Republican Party excises the Trump Cult, the racists and the bigots, and starts rebuilding itself as a party with the Platform, ideas, proposals, and a plan to transform the economy for the 21st Century. Following Trump and his politics of hate, division and racism spells the end of the Party of Lincoln.

Republicans can't win with Trump, because the vast majority of the American public now reject everything about him. Trump has never won a general election since he entered politics, and nothing that has happened since November 3rd has in any way endeared Trump to sane, reasonable Republicans. And they'll definitely lose if he makes good on his 3rd party threat and divides the right wing vote.

Look what you've done to yourselves!!!

Speaking of racism, say hi to your governor for me!

Not for anything but isn’t Trump the polestar of the GOP. Why wouldn’t the opposition keep the focus on him?

Yeah, you just keep telling yourself that. The only people I see keeping Trump relevant are his supporters who still scream "FRAUD!!"..."STOLEN!!" at the top of their lungs to any alt-right outlet that will give them an audience. Trump is taking a sledgehammer to the Republican party base...and they are rolling over like the good little cucks they are. I won't even call it fracturing the party. He's blowing it up. Right, now, in 2024, your candidate is Trump assuming he can avoid the legal issues that are coming his way..fast!! You may as well accept it. There's no current disaster. I would not get too giddy about making gains in 2022. The only way that may happen for Republicans is if the current crop of voter suppression and gerrymandering efforts hold up. Biden is implementing policy (and it's working) and Republicans are not even playing ball. As I said, the campaign ads are just about writing themselves. It's a long way to election 2022.

Trump's Top 10 Accomplishments of 2020
By Steve Cortes
December 31, 2020

This year has been dominated by the pain and suffering thrust upon the globe by the criminal acts of the Chinese Communist Party. Even amid these harsh challenges, President Trump persevered to reach historic achievements. Therefore, as the year draws to its conclusion, it is worth detailing his 2020 accomplishments, as I have previously catalogued for each of the last three years.

  1. The Vaccine. Millions of Americans have begun the process of inoculation, leading to an eventual reality where COVID-19 becomes a bad memory. The speed of this achievement defied skeptics and amazed scientists everywhere. Along with the brilliant government researchers and innovative private sector pharmaceutical companies, President Trump deserves enormous credit for his inspiring leadership of Operation Warp Speed.
  2. Broadening the Nationalist Movement. The “America First” uprising pre-dated Trump’s entry into politics, with roots in the Tea Party cause. But the movement found its indispensable leader in Trump. Not content with his upstart victory of 2016, Trump massively broadened the movement, in every sense. Geographically, Trump gained vote share in each of America’s four largest cities (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Houston) in 2020 vs. 2016. He added 500,000 raw new votes in Los Angeles County alone. Among the 11 million new voters rallying to Trump’s candidacy were millions of Latinos, as the president split the Hispanic vote in Florida and gained 10 percentage points over 2016 to earn 40% of the Hispanic vote in Texas. Under Trump’s leadership, in 2020 the America First cause morphed into a large, sustainable, multi-ethnic, cross-racial workers’ movement.
  3. Abraham Accords. For the first time in a quarter-century, Arab nations agreed to normalized relations with Israel. President Trump harnessed diplomacy combined with toughness toward Iran to forge truly historic new ties in the region. The 2020 agreement among Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain represents a massive breakthrough, one that encouraged similar pacts with Morocco and Sudan.
  4. Economic Recovery. The rally from the spring lockdown lows defied all predictions, and included massive surges in home and automobile sales, as pickup truck purchases soared to all-time highs. The U.S. economic performance was the envy of the advanced world. The U.S. stock market roared back far higher than the indices of Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Simply put, in 2020 the United States was an island of growth amid an economically stagnant world.
  5. The Wall. Contrary to the media narrative, considerable progress has been made in building the president’s controversial border barrier, despite constant obstructionism from both Congress and the courts – and the unrelenting hostility of the press. Some 423 new miles of impressive border walling now stand guard at our southern border. Officials of Customs and Border Protection make it clear that the wall plus Trump’s “remain-in-Mexico” asylum policy regained control of our previously lawless border region.
  6. Trade Agreements. For decades, our government pursued disastrous trade deals at the behest of K Street lobbyists, benefiting foreign nations plus the top executives of American multinationals, regardless of the harm to American workers. Donald Trump won the presidency vowing to fix these untenable trade structures, and in 2020 he signed the USMCA pact with our neighbors Mexico and Canada, a material improvement over the outdated and unfair NAFTA championed by bipartisan globalists. This success led to the Phase Two agreement with China as well, continuing the process of holding Beijing to account for its massive abuses of America via product dumping, industrial espionage, and a dearth of trade reciprocity.
  7. Afghan Peace Deal. This commander-in-chief pursued an America First foreign policy of realism and restraint. It paid off. As made clear by the December 2019 bombshell “Afghanistan Papers,” published by the Washington Post, Trump’s predecessors misled our citizens while wasting precious American lives and treasure during that pointless two-decade war. Trump is winding down such adventurism and reached a historic peace deal with the Taliban in 2020. Despite howls from the “America Everywhere” foreign policy establishment inside the D.C. Beltway, Trump’s deal to end the Afghan war has won rare, broad, bipartisan support among voters.
  8. Striking Down Terrorists. Instead of wasteful and unsuccessful mass invasions or grandiose commitments to “nation-building,” this president used surgical strikes to eradicate threats to our security. After America’s successful hit against ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in 2019, the 2020 strike against Iranian military leader and terrorism exporter Qasem Soleimani eliminated perhaps the most dangerous terrorist in the Middle East. Soleimani directly engineered the slaughter of American troops in Iraq, and he met instant justice courtesy of American missiles in an attack ordered by an intrepid commander-in-chief.
  9. Space Force. The first new branch of the U.S. military in decades, President Trump showcased his vision as an unpredictable political leader in establishing Space Force as the sixth U.S. military branch as part of the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act. America now stands as the only country with an independent, dedicated military space force. Such foresight highlights Trump’s willingness to think in unconventional ways.
  10. March for Life. Donald J. Trump became the first U.S. president to attend the annual massive pro-life march in Washington, solidifying his stature as the most pro-life president in American history. In so doing, he fulfilled campaign promises to protect unborn life as well as religious liberty. The president boldly declared that “every child is a precious and sacred gift from God.”
At home and abroad, President Trump proved that there is, indeed, method to his madness. Though his unorthodox and sometimes frenetic approach confounds his critics, Trump’s disruptive leadership remained highly effective in 2020, even as our country and his administration faced many unwelcome challenges. Whatever the future holds for him, the 45th U.S. president compiled a record of achievement over these last four years that is impressive and historic.

You are the authoritarian lovers. We are moving in that direction also. but much slower and you are impatient. You are so bad that a jackass who may work in a factory from dawn to dusk for his family is slandered and demeaned everyday by your swamp media and entertainer shills for having the audacity of not voting Prog.

A solid example of why Trumpism is "the most fascinating group psychological / sociological / anthropological study of our lifetime."
Okie dokie!

OP, does Trump not galvanize the Republican Party?
For the first time in history, a Republican fought back.

That is the legacy of Trump, vs. "W" bending over and not even asking them to use lube as the Left screamed he was a war criminal etc.,, and then "W" voting for Biden later on.

The ugliest presidential four years of our lifetime. By far.

The most fascinating group psychological / sociological / anthropological study of our lifetime.

One profoundly damaged man with a vice-like grip on one of our "major" parties.

An ongoing Cult of Personality unlike this country has ever seen, unlike anything the world has seen outside of North Korea in 85 years.

Hell yes. I'll be studying this closely for a long, long time. If anyone doesn't like that, tough shit.

You obviously haven't studied reality as yet.

Allow me to help with one or two accomplishments.

Trump's Top 10 Accomplishments of 2020

This year has been dominated by the pain and suffering thrust upon the globe by the criminal acts of the Chinese Communist Party. Even amid these harsh challenges, President Trump persevered to reach historic achievements. Therefore, as the year draws to its conclusion, it is worth detailing his 2020 accomplishments, as I have previously catalogued for each of the last three years.

Ironic post is Ironic.

Aw, we want the Trump, gotta have that Trump.

I get so excited when I hear that name! 2024 baby! Launch the trains and the flotillas! We need more flags!

You sent a mob to overturn the results of the federal election. You're already there, A$$hat. So as always, you accuse the Democrats of the very thing you're doing.
