Some and some. I was a soldier in Vietnam 1966 - 67. In 1967 I met three Viet Kong in black pajamas up at the Buddha on the hill in Nha Trang who offered me a cup of tea. They didn't push me, punch me, grab me, restrain me, capture me, torture me, imprison me, or kill me. As I've already stated, I am a Vietnam veteran. When I hear someone spewing propaganda about it I will tell you it is BS.
That's because the Viet Cong recognized you as a traitor, a "useful idiot," a gullible leftist who would spew their propaganda.
Even the SS occasionally treated captives/enemy soldiers kindly, but this was the exception, not the rule. The Viet Cong did not always, in every single case, murder and torture, but they did so in tens of thousands of cases.
It is just shameful that you are here on a public board denying the profusely documented fact that the Viet Cong were terrorists who murdered tens of thousands of civilians.
