And they keep entering into last mile delivery contracts that don't make any money and provides profit for UPS, FedEx and Amazon.

Any "business" run by Congress is going to be dysfunctional, but it's called a "Service" so.......Let's just admit it can't make a profit, was never designed to, and leave it at that.

The problem is that the postal service clause is in the constitution and later supreme court cases validated a US Government postal monopoly.

LOL....Ever notice that when you want to post a USPS thread you never really quite know where to put it?

Ha! A guy lost an Class III transferrable UZI through the USPS, fully insured for 25K, and they USPS rejected his claim even though a USPS employee stole it, it was used in a crime, and now it's in a evidence locker someplace.

Now they have Move On.org shilling for them. 😐

Thousands rally to support USPS as agency running out of cash

The petition was launched by the progressive advocacy groups MoveOn and Rural Organizing. It notes that the USPS serves millions of addresses across the U.S., including less accessible, rural communities that private carriers either avoid or charge extra for deliveries.
