I had to ask this specific question (Has America killed more people in 21st century wars?) because when I simply asked what nation is responsible for the most deaths during wartime in the 21st Century, I got a bunch of irrelevant answers that didn't really answer my question. Anyway, I keep hearing about how other nations are responsible for so much death and destruction but nobody wants to address the elephant in the room.

I'm sorry to say that America seems to hold the title for killing more people in the 21st century than any other nation on earth. I personally believe this is due to the fact that American politicians answer to a higher political, financial, or Oligarchical power. Could it be the Banking Cartel? The Military Industrial Complex? The Bilderberg Group? Israel and AIPAC? All the above? None of the above? I'm pretty sure I know but it doesn't change the fact that America wears the crown, currently.

That's not to mention that America aborts more than a Million unborn lives each year on top of it. If America was featured in Star Wars ... would she be considered the "Death Star?" (Asking for a friend).

Yes, American military operations in the 21st century, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan, have resulted in significant casualties, with estimates of over 940,000 people killed due to direct violence, including many civilians. The total death toll from these conflicts, including indirect deaths, is much higher, reflecting the extensive impact of war on affected populations.

Overview of U.S. Military Actions in the 21st Century

The United States has been involved in several significant military conflicts since the year 2000, primarily in the Middle East and South Asia. The most notable wars include:

  • Iraq War (2003-2011): Approximately 4,576 U.S. military fatalities occurred, with estimates of civilian deaths ranging from hundreds of thousands to over a million.
  • War in Afghanistan (2001-2021): The U.S. suffered about 2,432 military deaths, while civilian casualties are estimated to be in the tens of thousands.
  • Ongoing Operations: U.S. military actions in Syria, Yemen, and other regions have also resulted in significant civilian casualties, with estimates of over 940,000 people killed by direct war violence in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, and Pakistan from 2001 to 2023.

Comparison with Previous Conflicts

When comparing the death tolls from 21st-century wars to earlier conflicts:

Iraq War2003-20114,576200,000 - 1,000,000+
War in Afghanistan2001-20212,43230,000 - 50,000+
Vietnam War1955-197547,4341,000,000+
World War II1941-1945405,39921,000,000+

Conclusion

In total, the U.S. military actions in the 21st century have resulted in significant casualties, both military and civilian. While the direct military deaths are lower than in some previous wars, the civilian toll, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan, is substantial. The overall impact of these conflicts continues to be a topic of significant debate and concern.

"America" doesn't abort more than a Million unborn lives each year, Democrat America does that.

I wonder if US soldiers justifiably fighting against radical Islam terrorism have killed as many people as the 9-11 hijackers unjustly did (about 3,000).

"America" allows abortion and has for many decades. It's just another day at the office. Americans have become desensitized and they acquiesce in the atrocity.

All unnecessary death should be unacceptable.

The drug cartels kill about 200 Americans a day.

Who else kills as many year after year other than Planned Parenthood?

Considering the sources, I'm not surprised at the conclusion but I don't believe them as they have no idea how many various regimes in the world have killed not to mention other countries wars.

the lefts Islamofscist allies are directly responsible for most of the wars and deaths in the 21st century ..

America aborts more lives because we refuse to have nationalized health care.

the lefts Islamofscist allies are directly responsible for most of the wars and deaths in the 21st century ..
The left did not start two wars for no reason in this century.

Terrorists deaths aren't "unnecessary".

Who else kills as many year after year other than Planned Parenthood?
And yet Mexico has never been bombed.

Saying that "other groups kill a lot of people too" doesn't absolve Planned Parenthood of its crimes.

Sounds like you're saying that if there's another nation that killed MORE people than the USA in this century that America is "off the hook."

All I'm saying is that we can no longer say: "that nation kills lots of people therefore America is justified in killing lots of people too." America will have to come up with new excuses as to why her leadership start wars.

the lefts Islamofscist allies are directly responsible for most of the wars and deaths in the 21st century ..
But the stats claim that America has killed more civilians than any other nation. So America can't plead innocence. And she has no moral high ground to stand upon.

You don´t need a conspiracy theory. If you are in the congress and your house is made of military-industrial stocks, then you just get richer and richer every time there is a war.

The stats didn't mention "terrorists." It mentions civilians. By the way ... are unborn kids "terrorists?"
Generally no, but they can be. The kids bringing hand grenades to checkpoints as a for instance. But the stats intentionally leave out the bad people being killed.

Who are the majority.
