507,533 Signatures Collected As Of Today

By cutting spending, Walker cut class size?

I think he's trying to say that the reduction in class sizes makes up for the 10% cut to education. Or something like that.
Actually, I don't know what the fuck he's trying to say.:cuckoo:

Yeah, Walker has been great for WI schools.

Maybe you should go back to school so you figure out how to make a point.

Is that graph supposed to mean something ?

Yeah, in case you didn't notice, it was in response to your claim that Walker has been good for WI schools. Get your remedial teacher to help you read the graph. Look really close. WI has the fourth biggest cuts to education. You were saying something about Walker making classes smaller? You've got that right.
Then there are work rules. "In the collective bargaining agreement, high school teachers only had to teach five periods a day, out of seven," says Arnoldussen. "Now, they're going to teach six." In addition, the collective bargaining agreement specified that teachers had to be in the school 37 1/2 hours a week. Now, it will be 40 hours.

The changes mean Kaukauna can reduce the size of its classes -- from 31 students to 26 students in high school and from 26 students to 23 students in elementary school.

Forcing the teachers to, you know, work meant they reduced costs.

Is that very confusing?

The teachers were working, of course. Why pretend they weren't?

So Walker's strategy was to get the teachers to work longer hours for the same amount of money.

Has that ever happened to you at your job?

Because of liberal policy, I have had to take on additional responsibilities with less pay in my employment.

40 hours is too much to ask?

To give Scottie Walker his walking papers.

Out of a total of 94% of the 540,000 needed. Their internal goal is 740,000 or thereabouts.

It's a wrap folks...Scottie's TOAST!!!

You think teachers stop working when they leave school for the day? Teachers do plenty of school-related work at home, on their own time and on their own dime. They grade work, plan curriculum, and in some cases, spend their own money on supplies. Teachers are not the problem. CEOs have seen a 27% increase in pay. The rich are paying 15% capital gains tax. When are they going to be asked to sacrifice?

So they've collected 507, 533 signatures as of today? Anyone want to hazard a guess as to how many union members there are in Wisconsin? It's over 720,000. Throw in a whole bunch of starry eyed college students for good measure and you've got the demographic that you're pulling your signatures from.

Here's the thing though, kiddies...Walker has erased a 3 billion dollar deficit in the two years he's been in office while not laying off teachers, firemen or cops and not raising taxes. So out of the two and a half million people who are employed in Wisconsin...how many of THEM do you think are looking at this recall effort and shaking their heads in disbelief? How many of THEM do you think are going to vote to replace Scott Walker so they can get another tax and spend liberal back in the State House to run up yet another huge deficit? Sorry but I can't see it happening. I don't care how many millions the national unions pour into Wisconsin and how many out of State union organizers they bring in to protest and get out the vote...I just can't see the people of Wisconsin who aren't in unions doing something as stupid as replacing Walker.

Now it this was California...then all bets would be off. Those folks out in Cali run a bit short on common sense...

Thanks for reminding me. I meant to post this. Expect a link to the guy who claims he singed the petition 18 times as a rebuttal.

They need about 200,000 more to ensure that the election happens.

You have to use Kentucky windage when accounting for Right Wing trickery.

Mickey Mouse’ OK for Walker recall

Signatures of names like Mickey Mouse and Adolf Hitler are being considered valid on recall petitions of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker as long as they are properly dated, a government board indicated Tuesday.

Suspicious signatures will be noted, but reviewers on the Government Accountability Board will be looking primarily to see whether the signatures are accompanied by a Wisconsin address and signed during the appropriate time, according to WISN12.

“We will flag them, but we will not strike them without challenge,” said board elections specialist David Buerger, when asked whether Mickey Mouse’s signature could count. He added that in previous petitions, Hitler’s name was only struck because the address was in Germany, not due to the name itself.

The Walker camp can't contest them untill they've been officially filed, but you can bet that Mickeys and Adolphs will be tossed....

They're gonna need a helluva lot more than 507k to survive all the toss outs...

Did you see the guy who admitted to signing a petition 80 times? Fuckin' hell-arious...

Why don't you point out what Walker did that made him so likeable.
He denied barganing rights for teachers. And to top it off the police and fire persons came out and fought against Walker and protested with the teachers.

Walker is out for good. The reason your being taxed is because the Banks got Bailed out while the workers were Sold out and you believe in the status quo line of BS all the way to the grave.

He saved the jobs of public sector workers, instead of having to lay them off. Thats what he did.
