Walker recall on track

I find it oddly amusing that the libtards in here that are so gung ho about how much support they have for removing Walker, based on the figure of 1,000,000 signatures... refuse to comment on the fact that the 1,000,000 is about the same number of people that voted against Walker in the election.

In other words, as pissed as they say most Wisconsin voters are at Walker, they essentially got no new converts to their cause... just the people we already know don't like him.

Still leaves more people in WI that DO like him.

Funny how the libtards ignore this.

Uh-huh. Just keep telling yourself that. He's even losing support amongst Republicans.

As jubilant opponents of Republican Gov. Scott Walker launched their effort to try to recall him from office, a new poll showed he has lost support among his Republican base and a majority of respondents favor recall.

The growth in support for a recall came, surprisingly, from Republicans. In the spring, only 7 percent of Republicans supported recalling Walker but that grew to 24 percent in the fall.

How many signatures on the petition, sparky?

How many people voted against Walker during the election?

How many people voted FOR Walker in the election?

Let me know what you find... it's all in the thread... at least on of the multiple threads on this.

All anyone knows is that for Walker its over 1 million.

How many people voted against Walker during the election?

How many people voted FOR Walker in the election?

Number of people who signed the California recall petition in 2003 - 1.35 million
Number of people who voted FOR Gray Davis in 2002 - 3.5 million

By your logic - Gray Davis should have easily won his recall election

The only trouble with that theory is this: CA Gray Davis did bad things (fundraising quid pro quos with State employee union, mishandling energy that caused hurt to California citizens, deceptions over the budget deficit, killing jobs by destroying businesses, illegal nullification of voter laws, car tax heists, etc). WI Governor Walker did good things to save his state's people from bankruptcy.

And the national Republican ethics committee is going to be all over those Wisconsin precinct party chair hogs like ugly on a damn ape with measurement equipment to make sure the lying cheats don't count so much as one fart as a vote like they do everywhere else they can't beat a Republican.

Poll: Walker Starts Out Ahead Against Dems In Wisconsin Recall | TPM2012

So much for the vaunted 'support of the public' to recall walker. It's a university poll so it's going to trend left more than others normally do.

From article:

Walker leads his 2010 opponent, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, by 50%-44%.
He leads former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk by 49%-42%,
leads former Congressman Dave Obey by 49%-43%,
leads state Sen. Tim Cullen by 50%-40%.

Grey Davis lied to his base during the campaign....it caught up to him after the election.
Walker has followed through with what he promised.

An appeals court in Wisconsin on Friday ordered a judge in conservative Waukesha County to vacate his ruling and rehear the arguments of a lawsuit filed by the state Republicans about the procedures for counting signatures in the recall effort. The big issue: That the judge had refused to allow Democratic recall organizers to get involved in the case and make arguments.

This means that Democrats are getting another bite at the apple on this matter — depending on the outcome of the additional litigation, state election officials may not have to spend as much additional time reviewing the signatures, which would further delay the election.
