Err..umm... apparently you're not aware of the fact that is was the FBI conducting the "investigation" not Comey and it will continue on after Comey's departure.

One would think the Democrats would be elated about Comey's exit since under his watch the "investigation" into ties between the Russian Government and the Trump Campaign have so far turned up no evidence, maybe the next douche bag can do better.

I'm perfectly aware of it, is he hand picking a replacement for the agent in charge of the "investigation" and all the agents actively engaged on it too? Could the replacement possibly do any worse than spending time, effort and money "investigating" and turning up nothing?
