This is classic dogpiling. Every Democrat on the planet is trying to find a way to manufacture a retroactive punishment meted out to them by Christie, whether real or not.

Christie is the Republican Hillary. The Democrats are as afraid of Christie as Republicans are afraid of Hillary. So any chance to knock either of them of the 2016 race, partisan hacks will take it. Even if they have to manufacture a bunch of bullshit to throw at them.

That's the state of American politics today. Nothing but mudslinging back and forth. And that is because both parties are intellectually, morally, and philosophically bankrupt.
