Here's a stunner: A democrat caught lying.... :lmao:

Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer Alleges Possible Christie Retribution with Hurricane Sandy Relief | Mediaite

Remember that one? And her proof is that she kept a Journal?

Right, now check this out....

More Evidence Surfaces That Should Embarrass Hoboken Mayor?s Media Supporters | Mediaite

Zimmer’s was the most serious and substantiated claim of intimidation to follow the revelations surrounding “bridge-gate,” and she spent a week repeating her allegation on a variety of high profile news outlets. But few national press outlets or media personalities dug into Zimmer’s background or past statements in order to determine whether her claims merited such uncritical coverage.

Today, however, with the passions accompanying the scandals surrounding Christie having cooled, sober-minded folks are uncovering some details about Zimmer that should embarrass the media outlets that failed to perform any investigation into her and her claims expected of a journalistic enterprise.

In July 2013, attorney Louis Zayas deposed Zimmer while representing a Hoboken public safety director who had filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the city. Two months after Zimmer said she wrote in her journal that she was moved to tears by the betrayal of the Christie administration, she testified under oath that she did not keep those kinds of records.

Flagged by HotAir, Zayas provided the Newark Star-Ledger with the text of that deposition in which Zimmer denied the existence of a diary or any similar record.

“When you have meetings regarding day-to-day activities involving Hoboken business with your department heads, do you memorialize any of the conversation that takes place yourself?” Zayas asked in the deposition.

Zimmer replied, “No, I don’t transcribe it.”

Zayas then asked if she writes “notes in a calendar or some sort of memo pad that says follow up on a text or this was said during this meeting; anything that would help you recall what was said during the course of the meeting?”

Zimmer replied, “No, I don’t.”

I am shocked

And?

The Lt. Governor isn't a business leader or Department head.

In any case, she said she'd testify under oath about what was said.

I hope she does. She'll be charged with perjury.

Yes.

We are left to believe Christie and Crew who first said this was a traffic study, and then joked about it, then Christie threw his Crew under the bus, who have all lawyered up now.

It's Zimmer that's "lying".

Yeah...that's why I don't think she's the one that's going to be seeing charges...

You can only hope. He's a threat to you. Democrats and Republicans both like him. The only ones making an issue out of this are his political opponents, who are being regularly debunked as we speak.

Can't help it she's all over the place. Heck she even thinks Christie is a "great governor"!

And if this doesn't tell you anything about her credibility, I don't know what will:

Zimmer’s own record includes accusations of “lying” in sworn testimony, trying to ethnically “cleanse” the city of Hoboken, and trying to steer a government contract to a politically friendly law firm.

Zimmer allegedly perjured herself and obstructed justice in a discrimination lawsuit filed against her by the city’s former public safety director Angel Alicea, according to a motion filed in September by Alicea’s lawyer Luis Zayas.

“She lied on what documents she used to prepare for the deposition, and second, she downplayed her husband’s role (in her administration) to one where she (later) admitted he was involved much more than she let on,” Zayas said.

Zimmer’s lawyer Gerald Krovatin initially called the perjury and obstruction of justice accusations “nonsense.”

Alicea, a former police officer, alleged in a 2011 lawsuit that he was forced to resign from his position as Hoboken’s public safety director due to his Hispanic ethnicity. Alicea made $27,000 a year part time in his position, while his successor started at a salary of $110,000.

Zimmer and the city lost Alicea’s discrimination case mere weeks before she made her allegation against Christie. On January 3, a jury awarded Alicea $625,000 in punitive damages in addition to the $440,000 in back pay that he won from the city in December. The jury determined that Alicea’s back pay be calculated based on the salary given to Alicea’s successor.

The city will also have to pay Alicea’s lawyer fees, meaning that Hoboken taxpayers will have to pay more than $1 million as a result of the case.

The city of Hoboken has been sued at least five times since Zimmer took office in 2009 in cases that alleged discrimination or wrongful termination.

I will wait for all investigations to be concluded before I pass judgment.

The more this stuff goes on the more people in BOTH parties in NJ will want this to go away.

Scratch the surface of any Jersey politician and you will find something shady going on.

lefties don't understand the concept of throwing someone under the bus. if the person is in fact guilty of wrongdoing, then it is not throwing them under the bus to can them.

Unless you're guilty of the same wrongdoing.

Christie's Lt. Gov, as I am reading, is a real witch.

That's the one that is smearing Zimmer now.

Seems Kim Guadagno is no stranger to smearing and ruining reputations.

A Lieutenant Governor, an Artist and a Portrait of a Smear

TRENTON — In her first year in office, Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno opened a frontal attack on an unlikely target, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

Its contracting was “inexcusably” flawed, she said. Its practices were “unethical” and too cozy. Its director had to go.

Ms. Guadagno went on like this for months in 2010, and no one knew what to make of it. She wanted more control over the Arts Council, which distributed $16 million a year all over the state and was broadly respected."

Turns out the guy did nothing wrong and was honest to a fault. He still had to spend thousands of dollars for a defense.

“None of it was true... “The state could find no evidence of wrongdoing.”

It was, in fact, worse than that. The lieutenant governor and Department of State, it turns out, had control of the Arts Council’s spending all along. Her divisions signed off on every payment. "

What a slime queen.

In addition, Dan Brian, Zimmer's chief of staff and Juan Melli, Zimmer's communications director corroborate the mayors claims.

And there are more.

"The two Zimmer aides are among at least five witnesses who Zimmer told the FBI could confirm that she had previously told them about the conversation she says she had with Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno last May. Zimmer has alleged that during that conversation in a parking lot, the lieutenant governor linked Sandy funding to backing of the development project."

Emails Show Another Time Christie Aides Put Hoboken Project Over Flood Relief

Hunter Walker – January 30, 2014, 11:19 AM EST

Emails obtained by the New York Times for a story published Thursday show officials in the administration of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) made a proposed real estate development the top agenda item at a meeting scheduled to discuss flood relief in Hoboken, N.J.

The May 2013 meeting included Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer and officials from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

MSV: NJ Superior Court sends Carmelo Garcia "ethnic cleansing" lawsuit to the scrap heap

Superior Court judge gives thorough vivisection to Carmelo Garcia's ethnic cleansing lawsuit

In a minutely detailed dressing down legal analysis, the Hudson County Superior Court sent HHA Executive Director Carmelo Garcia's "ethnic cleaning" lawsuit to the scrap heap possibly ending the negative attention his civil lawsuit brought on Hoboken leading into last November's mayoral election.

The dismissal of the complaint against Mayor Dawn Zimmer and former HHA chairman Jake Stuiver becomes effective within 30 days unless Garcia's attorney amends and resubmits with permission of the court.

The 18 page decision signed by Judge Lawrence M. Maron takes effect in January and dismantled each of Garcia's claims. The basis of the civil lawsuit was deemed invalid - that Carmelo Garcia's contractual employment was in any way adversely impacted and the claim he was a "whistleblower."

The court ruled in order to claim whistle blower status protected under law, it's required to "blow the whistle" on something.

Garica also claimed his First Amendment rights to speech were negatively impacted but the court sharply differed saying Garcia has consistently spoke publicly against the Zimmer administration. Garcia actively backed Zimmer's mayoral opponent Assemblyman Ruben Ramos in the November election.

Louis Zayas, the attorney who filed the complaint betrayed in an interview months ago a lack of confidence in its legal underpinnings saying after its filing it could be enough to alter alleged interference by Mayor Zimmer in the Hoboken Housing Authority.
