Your comment about Saddam is out of context. We supported Saddam in his war with Iran under the any enemy of my enemy is my friend premise. We did not support his invading Iraq; which, is what made him the bad guy. One happened in the 80s, the other in the 90s. Two different events with different circumstances.

We also supported Osama bin Laden when he was part of the muhajadeen in Afghanistan when he was fighting the Soviet Union. Circumstances have changed since then, obviously.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here. To tell you the truth, most things that Bush and Abdullah do are un-Islamic. That doesn't really matter in Bush's case. Abdullah happens to be the leader of a self-described Islamic state that contains the two most religiously important Islamic cities within its borders. I'd rather that those cities not be under the control of a government whose official ideology contradicts the very teachings it claims to follow.
