That is what the religion named after Jesus says about homosexuality using Old testament tribal laws to base it on. If this was such a serious issue how come Jesus never addressed it at all. Wake up already you've been had for over 2,000 years and it is sickening. You act as if I am making this all up. No, Murder, Adultery, Homosexuality, and Bestiality are all Abominations according to scripture. In Leviticus 20 as revealed to Moses by Jesus Christ himself, Homosexuality is an abomination.
Leviticus 20
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4 And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
5 Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.
8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.
9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
10 And the man that committeth adultery with another manās wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbourās wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
11 And the man that lieth with his fatherās wife hath uncovered his fatherās nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
12 And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14 And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
15 And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
16 And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
17 And if a man shall take his sister, his fatherās daughter, or his motherās daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sisterās nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19 And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy motherās sister, nor of thy fatherās sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
20 And if a man shall lie with his uncleās wife, he hath uncovered his uncleās nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21 And if a man shall take his brotherās wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brotherās nakedness; they shall be childless.
22 Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
24 But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people.
25 Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
27 A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
This was the old testament law given to Moses by the Great I AM, Jehovah, even Jesus Christ himself. Jesus didn't become a world traveler before his mission in Israel. Jesus wasn't taught by the world but was taught from on high by his Father in Heaven. He made no mistakes and lived a life without sin. Jesus' mission while on this earth was unto the House of Israel. He didn't go off teaching to the Gentile or other heathen nations.
Luke 2:43-52
43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a dayās journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Fatherās business?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Here Jesus at the very young age of 12 was taking directions directly from his Father in Heaven and thus he was about his Father's business. All that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
Matthew 15:22-28
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the childrenās bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their mastersā table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Later it was given unto Paul the Apostle and others to take the gospel unto the Gentiles. Jesus was called to come and teach his gospel unto the house of Israel and later it was to go unto the Gentiles. Jesus was sent to teach his gospel to the House of Israel and not to receive the teachings of men.
Your complaint is not against me but against Jesus himself. You profess to know Jesus but you understand little about who he was and what he taught. Jesus was the God of the Old Testament who taught against homosexuality and made it a capital offense in the days of Moses. Jesus came to fulfill his law and not to do away with it. Jesus is the creator of this world and the Savior of it. It is his teachings that we should follow for He is the one who will stand as the judge in the day of judgement and the murderer, thief, adulterer, homosexual, etc who do not repent and forsake their sins will not find their abode in the kingdom of heaven because they are not willing to abide by the celestial law of the gospel which is the law of his kingdom. Your understanding of Jesus is not in line with the teachings of Jesus in the Bible. Jesus loves the sinner, but hates their sins. He suffered and died so that we could repent and find forgiveness of our sins. Homosexuality has been layed out by the Lord as an abomination.
According to Webster's dictionary, abomination is defined as such:
abomination
noun
abomĀ·iĀ·naĀ·tion | \ É-ĖbƤ-mÉ-ĖnÄ-shÉn \
Definition of abomination
1: something regarded with disgust or hatred : something abominable
considered war an abomination
2: extreme disgust and hatred : LOATHING a crime regarded with abomination
That is how the Lord Jesus feels about the sin of homosexuality among other sins. He love and hopes the sinner would repent of his abomination but will execute judgement upon the unrepentant sinners.
