On Thursday, L. Lin Wood, one of the lawyers who represented Nick Sandmann, the Covington Catholic High School student defamed by many media outlets, announced he would take up the case of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old boy who opened fire at Kenosha rioters — apparently in self-defense — and was arrested under suspicion for first-degree intentional homicide. As in Sandmann’s case, many media outlets and political figures have demonized Rittenhouse, with some calling him a “white supremacist” despite the lack of any evidence.

It would seem this kid is still in a shit load of trouble even if what is shown on the video going around cuts his way.

Well the video show this morning shows the kid was not threatened and killed Rosenbaum first and that is when the crowd started chasing him and the person who had his arm shot off actually had his hands up.

This video shows Rosenbaum chase Rittenhouse down before he got shot. Self defense.

The guy who got shot in the arm chased Rittenhouse down and was standing over him pointing a handgun at him before Rittenhouse shot him in the arm that was holding the gun. Later the handgun was confiscated by the police. That's clearly self defense.



This is an open and shut case of self defense and Rittenhouse will be acquitted as long as he is smart enough to exercise his right to remain silent.

If he stupidly submits to an interrogation he could easily get railroaded. It happens all the time.

Wrong Rosenbaum was shot by the car dealership after the kid approached him and some other protestor's, Rosenbaum threw a plastic bag at him and a few minutes later the kid shot him. The other's were chasing the kid down to stop him from shooting anyone else when he murdered the other and blew half an arm off another guy.

I know this is about the kid. Rosenbaum and others who seem to get or be in trouble, need to clean their acts up in life. This is not cleaning up their act.

The thing is though, that won't do him any good if he did not exercise his right to remain silent after he was arrested. He's only 17, so there's a good chance that he may have easily been tricked into thinking the cops are his friends, that they're on his side.

Are the circumstances shown in the video the entire story? From the video it appears to me he is defending himself. The murky part is prior to the video. Did he shoot someone? Even if he was trying to defend a business from rioters/looters it was still illegal for him to use lethal force under Wisconsin law unless he is a family member or in a contractual relationship with the owner of said business.
