You see, the only reason he prevailed in the Criminal case is that the judge limited the jury's consideration to ONLY to context of the moments the shots were fired, and not everything that led up to them and everything that followed.
The civil case can get all that stuff in. They don't even have to prove "murder", they just have to prove that Rittenhouse's recklessness caused deaths.
