Chris Christie Is Innocent, According to His Lawyers
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had nothing to do with the controversial lane closures on the George Washington Bridge last fall, the lawyers he hired claim in a forthcoming report.
Christie's Bridgegate investigation is baloney: Imagine what U.S. Attorney Chris Christie would have said
What we know already, though, is that it involved 70 interviews, none of which was with any of the three people at the center of the scandal.
Bridget Kelly, who infamously wrote, Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee; Bill Stepien, the governors former campaign manager; and David Wildstein, Christies appointee at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, all refused to be questioned.
But no matter. The governors lawyers may not have talked to the right people, but they talked to a lot of people, which makes this a comprehensive and exhaustive review, they say.

Wow, a cool million of taxpayer money can really buy a good defense.
