Many states will have off-year elections for state offices next November and abortion should be on the ballot in all of them.
In the states that have let their citizenry decide the issue (as it should be with something that's not a constitutional right) and not their legislature it's pretty clear that the majority of folks are fine with the practice, abet with some guardrails.
I say get it on the ballot ASAP so the dems can't use it in '24.....States can work out the details of guardrails (if any) later and let the chips fall where they may.
