Oh, no, I think we need to do a lot to fix immigration. (I make no distinction about undocumented because most undocumented immigrants come because they can't get in here legally.)
Here's a quick list of what I would do to fix it.
1) Create a national ID Card based on Social Security Numbers. WIthout this, you can't get a job or access any government services.
2) Go after employers who hire illegals, HARD! Not just the farmer or the sweatshop owner, but the rich asshole who can't be bothered to raise their own kids, so they hire Lupe, who is just like a member of the family, so we don't have to pay her taxes.
3) Create a Guest Worker program with a 2 year time limit, and at the end of the two years, you have to go home for one year.
4) Adequately staff the immigration courts so it doesn't take 7 years to resolve an asylum case.
5) Identify the countries that they are mostly coming from, and work with them to create economic opportunities at home.
But walls are just pure ******* stupidity. If Oceans and Mountains can be overcome, anything built by man can be overcome.

Most of the ones who get hired in NYC are working in sweatshops for Jews. Crack down on the sweatshop owners, and you'd be amazed how quickly people stop coming when there are no jobs waiting for them.

The wall consists mostly of 18- to 30-foot steel bollards anchored in concrete. The barriers also feature sensors, lights, cameras and parallel roads in some places.
And you could beat those with a sawzall and a steel cutting blade, which is exactly what the undocumented immigrants do.

So essentially, less than 50 miles of actual wall. Not that it matters, walls are pretty easy to beat.
