In other words, she buys the food for the household of 3 on foodstamps issued to one.
It's fraud. You understand that, right? Households that eat and prepare together should be applying together.
It's also illegal to accept foodstamps as payment for non-food items. She's using foodstamps as currency.

So, she lives for free and shares her food? It's amazing that she's so generous when she's so in need. But I bet she must be getting awfully sick, if she's only taking in a third of the nutrition she should be.

Why don't you try being honest about all of this. I gave you enough chances. What you're bitching about is something that is seen occasionally, where someone without any other place to go, ends up living with someone else and contributes in the only way they have available. Usually, the person forking over their food stamps simply gives their card over, and the person to whom the apartment or house belongs uses it as a contribution to the overall food costs, and buys everything.
When this stuff happens, the person "paying rent" with food stamps is usually more a victim than anything. They're being taken advantage of and have little recourse to do much anything about it. Usually, they're forced to eat whatever the other person buys and have little to no input on the matter themselves.
So STFU with your faux outrage. If you can't represent the scenarios honestly, then don't invoke them at all.

Obviously, foodstamps are used for many things other than just food. I had a talk with the woman who is paying her rent with them and explained to her that if she is purchasing and preparing with the entire household, then they should all apply together and report all the household income. She claimed the other two hh members don't have foodstamps but who knows if that is true. Not me, I didn't ask their names or look them up. Chances are they're all getting different types of government $$, and none of them are telling the truth about anything.
A lot of time people who are defrauding disability and foodstamps will lie about various and assorted things in order to access more income, and to keep their disability. To start with, they lie about being disabled, but they keep at it long enough it becomes a self fulfilling prophesy.
Then they will lie about their income to get foodstamps and to qualify for programs that will pay their medicare premiums (once they get medicare). They lie about who is in the household, and who gets income, and they do things like rent out rooms for foodstamps in order to hide that income. I had one disabled client who lied about living with her husband in order to hide that income, her whole family was in on it...she claimed to be living with her daughter, separate from her husband, but really her husband is living with her..they just all sort of live in the same compound and pretend they are in separate "dwellings". I have another disabled mother who lives with her grown disabled daughter in a duplex, and they bounce a 16 year old boy back and forth between their households, pretending they're separate households from each other, and that when he's living with mom he's not living with his sister, and when he's living with his sis, it's a separate household from mom...but they all live in the same building and have one telephone. When you call the house number, whoever answers gets whichever person you need. But they're "separate". Yeah, right.
But hey, ITM thinks these people are "victims", being preyed upon by...somebody.
Truth is, they're PROFESSIONAL victims, and they make a decent living defrauding taxpayers.

I have one who claims their pizza on Friday nights with the kids is a "business" expense and therefore excluded income.

I'd argue this thread, but I know Liberals have a lot more experience with Food Stamps, and their usage than I do, so I know I would be at a severe disadvantage.
