For some reason, Democrats on here keep bringing that up.

Guess what? They also aren't eligible to just walk/wade across the border and stay here the rest of their lives, but they're doing that anyway.

No welfare agency has a secure system to screen out illegals. That isn't their mindset. Their mindset is to give as many people benefits as possible so they can justify their cushy government jobs. Illegals with anchor babies get food stamps and welfare, of course. But nothing is in place to prevent childless illegals from claiming to be here legally and getting benefits. Asylum seekers under the catch and stay here program are "technically" here legally, so they can get it all.

Not to mention that California has decided to openly give food stamps to illegals. Of course, they will be crying for more federal printed money when that drains their systems.

So, any talk of fining employers to somehow persuade illegals to go back home is pure lies.

If blacks can get all the welfare they want by just being black............it doesn't matter who or what you are........as long as you DON'T LOOK WHITE.

Being WHITE requires a LOT of paperwork, identification, background checks, departmental investigations on your application, and a time consuming number of "considerations" for your needs.

I had a friend who worked for Social Services when I lived in California tell me that they weren't even allowed to ask about immigration status when minorities were applying for welfare benefits and Medicaid, let alone demand proof of legal residence or citizenship.

The law still specifically forbids unauthorized crossing of the border. Once they have crossed and get caught or turn themselves in then they can apply for asylum.
