Zone1 A Woke Pope?

If they were MADE to chant it then they don't necessarily believe it. As for their government, they are not a world power. They are not a threat to the US. They are a regional power that is a threat to Israel because Israel is in their region. Christian Zionists wanted this war and Israel is laughing at us behind our backs for fighting their war for them.
.

Well, thanks.

.

You do realize the tariffs are paid by the American consumer, right? Tariffs are effectively a tax. Tariffs are not conservative values.

Iran is no threat to us. Iran is a threat to Israel. We are fighting Israel's war for them. The Israelis are laughing at us behind our backs.
Tariffs are 100% conservative values. The idea is to bring back manufacturing AWAY from other countries so they produce things here. Not all tariffs ae paid by consumer....Retailers often "eat" the cost of tariffs on known value items like bread, milk, etc. Everyday items. Companies like Walmart pressure exporters to lower their cost, essentially paying the tariff themselves.
The US wants jobs for US citizens and for manufacturing to be done HERE...not in a China sweatshop paying 40 cents an hour to underage kids. You are all about empathy and caring for people right ? Care about THEM then.

Iran has been the US's biggest terrorist threat for 40 years. I am assuming you are Liberal...Obama, Kamala, Biden, Clinton have said this over and over and over. They ARE a threat to Israel AND the US directly and indirectly. Iran funds Hamas and Hezbollah among others who have performed COUNTLESS attacks on US citizens and US allies.

Try googling it because it's literally the opposite of conservative values. Conservative values are small government, low taxes and free markets. Tariffs are taxes and are artificial markets.

The idea is to bring back manufacturing AWAY from other countries so they produce things here. Not all tariffs ae paid by consumer....
That part is true. Tariffs are designed to artificially raise market prices to allow less efficient, higher cost companies to compete.

That's not true. Companies are passing the cost along like any other cost increase they have. Consumers are paying higher prices. Google it.

Correct. I don't believe tariffs - which are artificial and can be removed - will do that. No one is making long term capital investments based upon tariffs.
not in a China sweatshop paying 40 cents an hour to underage kids.
Not our problem.
You are all about empathy and caring for people right ?
No. I care about doing the right thing, the right way for the right reason.
Care about THEM then.
Why? These are business decisions, not charity. I'm a true conservative. I believe in small government, low taxes and free markets. I'm so conservative I won't stand by while other so-called conservative shit all over conservativism.

Yes, tariffs imposed in 2025 have raised prices on consumer goods, with studies indicating that costs are largely passed on to consumers rather than absorbed by firms. As of January 2026, Core Personal Consumption Expenditure (PCE) goods prices rose 1.9% year-over-year due to these tariffs, with tariffs driving over 85% of price increases for certain imported household goods.

Evidence suggests that, as in 2018, importers passed nearly the entire cost of the tariffs on to consumers in 2025.

I recently bought something from a seller overseas. Not knowing if their country was getting tariffed, I just had to ascertain. I'm trying hard to buy American, but some things are just not available from American sellers.

This seller could not tell me what I needed to know, but they did tell me that they are marking a lot of merchandise as "Gift", so no duties will apply to their consumers.

I will be happy when America starts manufacturing more so we don't have to deal with this stuff.

Right. They say they will make these investments and they may or may not credit the tariffs for these investments. What happens if the tariffs go away? So there's no guarantee these investments will ever be made.

What I can guarantee you, is that as long as the tariffs are in place, you will pay more for your products than if the tariffs were not in place.

That's OK..we will benefit other ways (as I have already seen a 20% increase in my taxes via the BBB) ...if it keeps my nation safe and brings back jobs and US manufacturing for millions of Americans I am fine with that. If things made in America isn't conservatism I don't know what is....where do you think the term "Made In America" comes from ?
Whatever your source of news is...scrap it.

84% of Republican voters support rebuilding infrastructure using American-made materials

Good luck with that. Inflation destroys wealth. Don't say you weren't warned.

I like how I shoot down all of your wrong points with proof and you don't acknowledge that...
Why would I acknowledge your wrongness? You think being conservative means higher taxes, bigger government and government controlled markets.
