Are there any just wars?

Not "officially", but Lend-Lease had been in effect already, the AVG was forming and on their way to China, and at least three US Navy ships had been attacked by the Axis, damaged and/or sunk with scores of USA sailors wounded and killed.

Point you miss or reject is that there was a pre- and during the war interventionism by the USA in the ME.
That was mostly FDR, who felt that joining the war was a just cause. It was not the foreign policy consensus that developed after the war and during the Cold War.

It does get a little weird when Trump tells us he "totally obliterated" Iran's nuclear capability, and then tells us a few weeks later that Iran is about to nuke us.

He can always get away with insulting the flock's intelligence, such as it is, but it really doesn't work on the rest of the world.
The only intelligence being insulted is yours and that is because of the lack of it.

Do you deny that Iran began rebuilding their nuclear sites, or not?

He needed Congressional approval for the Lend-Lease.
Consensus afterward means a majority of Congress approved the policies, which were essentially the same as during the war.

I don't !
You are the one that supports "kill the Joos ~ destroy Israel" and Islamic Jihad. Bosom buddies to Nazism.
You do. You’re exactly like a Nazi SS officer running a concentration camp.

Having to go to war because you have been attacked (Department of Defense): Yes

Initiating a war because the other guy might do something (Department of War): No
We play with a different set of rules in this era, where being attacked means an inability to fight back after the fact. Anyone attacking us would certainly set off EMPs before the attack. They render any electronics worthless. Anything with a battery or computer board instantly dead. Unless our military is sitting in a giant faraday cage, we would be helpless. The enemy could destroy us with impunity.

YUP!
Too many on this board are about 50-60 years out of date on current world situations.

Just like any other tool, war can be used for good or for ill. It is a tool that God Himself has used to mete out divine justice on His enemies — those who have done evil in the sight of the Lord. As Ecclesiastes says, “There is a time for war and a time for peace.” If Pope Leo was right recently when he said that Jesus “does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war,” then that would mean God didn’t listen to the prayers of Moses, Joshua, David, or a host of other biblical figures. Has Pope Leo read the Old Testament? Is he suggesting that God didn’t listen to the prayers of Pope Urban II, who initiated and led the First Crusade?

According to Cardinal Robert McElroy, the war against Iran is not justified and is not being used to do good. “In the Catholic teaching, this is not a just war,” he said in an interview with CBS News. “The Catholic faith teaches us there are certain prerequisites for a just war. You can’t go for a variety of different aims. You have to have a focused aim, which is to restore justice and restore peace. That’s it.” McElroy did admit that it is an “abominable regime, and it should be removed,” but he stopped short of suggesting who should be the one to remove it.

It seems to me that getting rid of a regime that has terrorized and killed people all over the world and its own citizens for decades is the very definition of restoring justice and peace.

You don’t believe in God. Aren’t you a Satanist?
