They mayor of a small island 42 miles off the coast of New England is doing all he can to foster a tourist industry. He has successfully managed to get a New York Times travel writer to visit to take in the sights and hopefully give the town a good review. The mayor is shooting for a Bar Harbor comparison.
Unfortunately, the townspeople have some superstitions about the island and try to warn the mayor not to encourage visitors.
But the mayor needs tourism money for simple infrastructure needs like WiFi and roads and such.
There are countless stories about hauntings, old wives tales, and horrors. There's something in the fog. Watch out for the Sea Hag. The local hotel alone has about a dozen apparitions out to get you.
Best of all, this show is chock full of comedy.
There are plenty of scares, too, but no gore. It has more class than that.
It's a great watch. Check it out.
