Fake IRS collectors are calling | Consumer Information
Caller left an ominous message stating that me or my attorney would need to contact her as soon as I listened to the message. Otherwise they would take this to criminal court. Julie Smith claimed she was an officer for the IRS. I knew this was a scam because the IRS does not contact you by phone, they use the mail box. Plus I owe no taxes. I called them back this morning and asked them if they were part of the Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America. I promptly got silence and then a click. LOL!! I called them back and they sent my call to voice mail > I was obviously toying with Mark and Julie LOL
