From here:
March 31, 1933 Walter Duranty reported in the NYTimes
“there is no famine (in the Ukraine)”
while 7 –10 million were starved to death. In his
New York Times articles (including one published on
March 31,
1933), Duranty repeatedly denied the existence of a
Ukrainian famine in 1932–33. In an
August 24,
1933 article in
NYT, he claimed "any report of a famine is today an exaggeration or malignant propaganda. Duranty won a
Pulitzer Prize in 1932.
To here.....
Here Are Just a Few Of the Fake News Stories About Donald Trump:
1. He doesn’t read. A favorite NY Times/MSNBC lie. Totally false. Anyone that knows him, laughs when they hear that one. A constant reader, look at any picture of his desk, covered with reports, studies and books.
2. CNN reported that Nancy Sinatra was "not happy" Trump's first inaugural dance to her dad's "My Way." Even the very liberal Democrat Nancy was stunned by this fake news and posted this reaction, "Why do you lie, CNN?"
3. The New York Times and others reported that on Inauguration Day, Trump's team scrubbed climate change and references to LGBT from the White House website. Actually, there was a broadcasted plan to shift the Obama website to a different site and that the Trump team would use a skeleton site for the first few days.
4. The Washington Post hit Trump for giving a speech in front of the "sacrosanct" CIA Memorial Wall. It didn't mention that Obama had done the same thing.
5. CBS, reporting on the same event, said that the applause for Trump came from the first three rows of guests, stacked with Trump campaign and White House aides. In an embarrassing pushback, Spicer at a subsequent press briefing said there were no aides in the first four rows, that they were standing in the back.
6. A Time reporter tweeted that Trump removed the Martin Luther King Jr. bust from Oval office. The reporter soon corrected the tweet.
7. Several outlets reported that Team Trump issued a "gag order" on the EPA and other agencies. In fact, the memo asking them to refrain from tweeting and issuing news releases is standard operating procedure between administrations.
8. The AP reported that Donald Trump's voter fraud expert was registered to vote in three states. He was registered in only one.
9. Many media outlets described the president's immigration orders as a "Muslim ban."It targeted anybody from seven nations, including Christians, not just Muslims.
10. The New York Times reported that Trump's staff bumbles around in the dark in the Cabinet room because they can't find the light switch.
11. The failing @nytimes does major FAKE NEWS China story saying "Mr.Xi has not spoken to Mr. Trump since Nov.14." We spoke at length yesterday!
12. Longtime Hillary Clinton advisor Sidney Blumenthal wrote up a story in the London Review of Books about a racist political ad by Trump's father. It was widely spread in mainstream media social accounts. It was a fake.
13. The Trump Company was sued by the city for racist housing in the 70’s – every company was.
14. Reports said that a Muslim-American Olympic female athlete was detained at an airport under Trump's immigration orders. She was briefly detained in December under former President Obama's policies.
15. Several reports said that Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe discussed classified info at dinner table at Mar-a-Largo. They were discussing press conference plans for next day.
16. Most mainstream media outlets have sneered that there was little or no voter fraud in the election. But a university analysis and separate poll indicated that 2 million "non-citizen" immigrants may have voted.
17. NBC and others said that 10 members of an Asian American Council quit in protest over Trump policies. Spicer said that they were all Obama appointees with terms set to expire.
18. The Associated Press reported that the president planned to mobilize the National Guard to remove illegal immigrants. White House called it "100 percent wrong."
19. The New York Daily News reported that Trump domestic policy adviser Stephen Miller called Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Robert Capers at home to explain how to defend the immigration executive order in court. Both however said they did not speak.

"Like a teenager who just learned a new SAT word, the left is using and misusing this word to characterize President Trump’s statements. From his most recent “last night in Sweden” remark to his assertion that the murder rate is at its highest mark in 47 years, liberals have incorrectly labeled Trump as “intending to deceive.”
MSNBC's Lawrence O’Donnell went so far as to crown himself “the enemy of Trump lies.” Interestingly, the concept of lying has been noticeably absent from liberal vocabulary for the last eight years.
This characterization was nowhere to be found when President
Barack Obama’s then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice
appeared on five Sunday talk shows and blamed the Benghazi attacks on a YouTube video. In lockstep,
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton allegedly assured the families of the four dead Americans that she would get the videomaker; this promise came despite Clinton knowing full well that terrorists were to blame.
Indeed, Clinton
wrote in two emails in the immediate aftermath of Benghazi that these Americans “were killed in Benghazi by an al Qaeda-like group” not at the hands of a spontaneous protest triggered by a video. Nevertheless, she purportedly deceived the families of these American heroes.
The “L-word” was absent
when the Obama administration promised 37 times “if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it,” only to be followed by millions of Americans losing their plans and doctors en masse. According to NBC, the “
Obama administration knew millions could not keep their health insurance.” Liberals, nevertheless, played the naiveté card.
“Lying” allegations were nonexistent
when Hillary Clinton vowed that she “did not email any classified material to anyone on my email” only to be followed by a revised vow that she “never sent nor received any information that was classified at the time it was sent and received” before finally arriving at the promise that she “never received nor sent any material that was marked classified.” Mine too! Clinton’s evolving and lawyerly defenses of course came as the evidence of her sending and receiving classified information became public. As the facts grew, so too did evidence of Clinton’s intentional deception.
Rather than label the Obama and Clinton duplicities as lies, liberals rationalized them. Obama and Clinton did not intend to deceive, and thus they did not “lie.”
Rice and Clinton were caught up in “the fog of war” during Benghazi,
as Clinton stated to a congressional panel. Obama did not realize millions would lose their plans. And Clinton, despite having three decades of government experience, just did not know how to handle classified information.
If the left would use this same exacting precision in analyzing the words of President Trump, not only would they find that Trump is not “lying” but that he lacks the nefarious cover-up motives involved in several of the aforementioned Democratic mistruths.
For instance, I was at Trump’s Saturday rally in Melbourne, Fla., where he urged his audience to “look at what’s happening last night in Sweden.”
The left used Trump’s vague statement to impart sinister suspicion. “How dare he make up a terrorist attack!?” and “liar!” were but a few of the apoplectic freak-outs. Meanwhile, the person beside me heard it entirely differently. “He’s referring to information he gathered regarding Sweden last night,” this person said.
Trump’s clarification on Twitter that his “last night” remark indeed referred to a Friday night Fox News segment on crime in Sweden validated the latter interpretation over the former. Nevertheless, the former interpretation was adopted as gospel.
The left’s “lying” narrative was again on full display when Trump stated that the murder rate was the highest it has been in 47 years. The liberals accused Trump of intentionally planting a false statistic, but they ought to have done a cursory Google search, which would have clarified exactly what Trump was getting at: the U.S. had just seen the biggest increase in murders in 45 years.
Trump used this statistic several times throughout the campaign, and
Politifact rated his statement as “mostly true.” But this time Trump left out one word — increase — and the left lost it, resorting to the “lying” label.
The truth is liberals are using every tactic possible to drown the Trump presidency. False allegations of racism, bigotry, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, and now lying each have their own chapter in the Trump takedown playbook.
As it turns out, the only lies being told are not by President
Donald Trumpbut by liberals, who will hypocritically mischaracterize Trump’s every action. They do so intentionally – the very definition of a “lie.”
Liberal ‘lies’ about President Trump
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently, if you’re a Democratic senator, spreading innuendo, rumors and flat-out lies about President
Trump is a nothing-burger.
Matter of fact, many mainstream media outlets encourage it.
First, it was Sen. Chris Coons, from Delaware.
He went on MSNBC last week and alleged — with a straight face — that the FBI had obtained transcripts that proved collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
“There are transcripts that provide very helpful, very critical insights into whether or not Russian intelligence and senior Russian political leaders including Vladimir Putin were cooperating, where colluding with the Trump campaign at the highest levels to influence the outcome of our election,” Mr. Coons told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “If that information is stonewalled or hidden away and we’re not able to get that on the Senate intelligence committee, House intelligence committee, then I think that has real consequences for our Democracy.”
Except he had no proof the transcripts he described even existed — it was his own speculation masked as fact in order to spread fear and mistrust in our federal institutions and
Mr. Trump.
On Sunday Mr. Coons had to walk back his comments, saying he had no evidence such transcripts existed, and apologized for any “hyperventilating” — his hyperventilating which went viral Friday afternoon after a MSNBC producer tweeted: “Sen. Coons tells @mitchellreports that the FBI has transcripts that may show Russian leaders colluding with the Trump campaign.”
“I have no hard evidence of collusion,” Mr. Coons told “Fox News Sunday.”
It was all fake news, promoted by MSNBC, because it served their Russia/
Trump collusion narrative.

....Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse’s comments Wednesday morning to CNN’s “New Day.”
In an interview, Mr. Whitehouse said he could envision a scenario where Attorney General Jeff Sessions passed messages between Mr. Putin and
Mr. Trump during the campaign.
“You can imagine a set of circumstances in which the Trump campaign gave him talking points [and] he was a message boy for them,” Mr. Whitehouse told host Alisyn Camerota.
“There was a content related to the relations between USA and Russia, favorable to Russia that would have encouraged them to support the Trump campaign. And then he returned back to the Trump campaign and said, ‘Done it, you know, mission accomplished here,’” Mr. Whitehouse speculated.
Continuing with his fairy tale, Mr. Whitehouse added: “And if that were the case it would be really, really hard to believe that [Mr. Sessions] didn’t remember that. If it was just a casual courtesy meeting then, forgetting it or not, being truthful about it may be a little more understandable.”
This was a completely made-up scenario that smeared both Mr. Sessions and
Mr. Trump, totally devoid of any truth or fact. Yet, CNN indulged the Rhode Island senator, allowing him to spread rumor and innuendo freely because, you know, it also served their narrative —
Mr. Trump is bad, he colluded with the Russians, he’s not a legitimate president.
Never mind there’s absolutely no evidence to back any of these allegations up.
The media and Democratic Senators can seemingly trade in fiction freely. So long as it serves their preconceived narrative.
Democratic lawmakers, media have no problem lying about Trump

....Donald Trump became the latest to fall victim to the liars in the “news” media, as they feverishly reported Trump’s “Anti Mexican” remarks, painting him as a racist and a hate monger.
Here’s what he actually said:
“The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems,” Trump said. “It’s true. And these aren’t the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime; they’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”
That’s a far cry from “All Mexicans are rapists,” or “All immigrants are killers”.
But, that didn’t stop the liars in the news media from deceiving the American public about what Trump said.
CNN’s Brook Baldwin actually reported: “Donald Trump called all Mexicans rapists and killers” following up by calling his remarks “Anti-Mexican” and that Trump “called all immigrants killers”.
It was simply an outright lie. But Baldwin was not alone. Every news outlet followed by repeating the lie … over and over again in the hopes that stupid people will be outraged.
