The new book brings some clarity to the question of whether Dotard was aware of what might happen after he agreed to join Bibi in attacking Iran. The answer is an emphatic yes. Dan Caine gave him a full briefing on what could happen if things went badly. But Don had a "feeling" it would go well and be over quickly. Because........."Trump brags that he never prepares."

I prefer to narrow the focus on trump's decision to send unqualified negotiators to talk with the Iranians. It follows a pattern of surrounding himself with people he's comfortable with but are not capable of serving the nation's best interests. His cabinet is full of them. Which makes sense since he himself is not qualified to lead the nation.
