Shelling of Donetsk. "Russia, take revenge!"

There has been some debate about whether more powerful weapons should have been sent to Ukraine sooner or delivered as the immediate situation demands, but there is no debate about whether Russia should be stopped.
More powerful weapons will not stop Russia.
This isn't Iraq or Afghanistan or Syria, or ?Libya.
Russia will do whatever's necessary to defeat the US proxy on its borders just as it has done since 1949.

Wake up! There is nothing Russia can do to win the war in Ukraine.
That is absurd. Ukraine can’t win this war no matter how much military material the US floods it with.

Russia has been very careful to avoid civilian deaths and hasn’t destroyed infrastructure. Some experts expect this changes soon. If the Russians follow US military tactics, they will destroy Ukraine’s infrastructure resulting in horrific suffering. Power plants destroyed. Rail system destroyed. Water plants destroyed. All this will result in mass death, but you’re okay with that.

That's because recently the US has been getting ass-kicked mostly by savages on the other side of the world. Therefore, american public can still swallow jingoistic propaganda and believe in their exclusivity.
Unfortunately, the USA needs a strong kick in the teeth, with a steel-toed boot from an equivalent opponent. Such a blow that they had to swallow their teeth and cough up blood. Not the gentle ass-kicking.
And this should especially concern the American "elite" so that they cannot hide in their bunkers in New Zealand. Then, and only then, some semblance of peace can be established on the planet for a while. Temporary, of course, because under cursed capitalism wars are inevitable.

The Ten Commandments of War Propaganda:

1. We don’t want war, we are only defending ourselves.

2. Our adversary is solely responsible for this war.

3. Our adversary’s leader is inherently evil and resembles the devil.

4. We are defending a noble cause, not our particular interests.

5. The enemy is purposefully committing atrocities; if we are making mistakes this happens without intention.

6. The enemy makes use of illegal weapons.

7. We suffer few losses, the enemy’s losses are considerable.

8. Recognized intellectuals and artists support our cause.

9. Our cause is sacred.

10. Whoever casts doubt on our propaganda helps the enemy and is a traitor.

Does any of this sound familiar to you?

Exactly Russian propaganda narratives they use to feed their populace and their supporters abroad.

You murderers shot civilians in their homes and on street for target practice.

Wait, are you saying that Ringo personally is killing people in Ukraine?

Lots of civilians dead in war. Just ask Joe Biden and the families and children he murdered pulling out of Afghanistan mistaking them for terrorists.

People die in war, which is why Biden should have done everything to AVOID a war there rather than ESCALATE and protract it.

here are two notable points here. There is strong bipartisan support for continuing military aid to Ukraine, and among those Americans who have an opinion about it by a ratio of 3 to 1 they support continuing to provide military aid to Ukraine. This means that regardless of who wins the midterm elections, the American people will continue to sneer at Putin's ridiculous threats.
There's been "strong bipartisan support" for the killing, maiming, and displacing of millions of innocent civilians from Korea to Kandahar. Most of those supporting continued U$ profit taking in Ukraine couldn't distinguish between Donetsk and Donbass.

In spite of what western propaganda tells you, Putin isn't making threats of any kind; he's making the same promises JFK made in 1962.

So what you are saying is that you think Russia can win this war by committing the atrocities you listed even while its army runs away from the Ukrainian army.

Lol. Have you learned nothing about what has occurred in Ukraine since it’s independence from the USSR?

I ask you a question, you reply to this question with a question.
You stated I'm ignorant. I want to know what it is I'm ignorant of.

Does this help? You've admitted knowing nothing about this topic, yet you’ve stated an opinion. Does this change your opinion?

What Would a Nuclear War Look Like?

For eight years, NATO has backed puppet rulers in Ukraine, funded attacks on Donbass, repeatedly violated the Minsk Treaties, outlawed the speaking of Russian in the Luhansk and Donetsk Republics, and has destroyed democratic opposition and free media in Ukraine, leaving it a one-party government, essentially owned and financed by the US and administrated by US operatives.

Not much subtlety there.

Yet, somehow, the US has managed to convince the people of the US and other Western countries that Russia is the bad boy, is out of control and must be stopped.

In spite of all the above, Russia remained stoic and sought continually to keep a lid on the situation. It did, however, state firmly that the “red line” would be if Ukraine were to go nuclear, becoming a direct threat to Moscow. That would not be tolerated.

Surely, this was a sober heads-up to any sensible country that the one thing that must not happen would be for Ukraine to go nuclear. After all, once that Pandora’s Box was opened, the last barrier to possible nuclear war would be crossed.

For eight years, Russia had been goaded again and again by the West, yet they did not take the bait. Then, in February of 2022, at the annual Munich Security Conference, the President of Ukraine announced his intent to make Ukraine a nuclear country.
