In a response to a tweet that criticized former Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for lying, Musk blasted the lawmakers for withholding evidence for “partisan political reasons.”

It is alt-right to baulk at the idea that the Democrats withheld exculpatory evidence regarding Jan. 6th? We have all seen video against the defendants, but they clearly withheld this video evidence because they didn’t want to harm their case(s) in any way. Regardless of the final decision on these prosecutions, how can you justify, in good conscience, withholding evidence that could have potentially helped the defense?

That said I don't know if they were ever asked for so that remains to be seen but I can wait, all this needs to come out slowly so voters have time to digest it.

No one is arguing those involved in rioting vandalism and violence shouldn't face justice. What some don't seem to realize is many of those people let in by CP peacefully walking around the Capitol that could be identified were charged.

The riots in the summer were mostly peaceful by your definition. It was certainly an attempt to delay the peaceful transfer of power long enough for Pence to declare he would not certify the election. Let's question the allegations one by one here.

1. Lied about how Brian Sicknick died
Not going to argue this, there was a lot of false information about his death.

2. Lied about Barry Loudermilk taking rioters on a reconnaissance mission
This was a concern that they had and was investigated. I didn't see any actual accusations of him doing anything wrong. It is a fact that one of the constituents that Loudermilk took through the Capitol did express many violent statements online.

3. Lied about Josh Hawley running away
What is the lie? Hawley ran away. Carlson makes a big deal about other people also running away, but that really don't change the fact that Hawley ran away.

4. Lied about Ray Epps being a credible witness
The January 6th report says nothing about Epps. Where does this accusation come from exactly?
