"Tarik Johnson, a 22-year veteran on the Capitol Hill force, was tasked with securing the certification of the 2020 presidential election.

"My voice is one of the first ones you hear on the audio transmission, so I did expect to get an interview sometime, but it didn't happen." Johnson told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" about the House Select Committee in an interview aired Tuesday. "I guess the focus was on Donald Trump.
"

The J6 Committee did mot want to hear what Johnson had to say and did not want anyone else to hear it, either:

"Despite pleas for help on Jan. 6, Johnson said he did not hear anything, not even from Capitol Police chief assistant Yogananda Pittman, who allegedly kept vital information about the protests from him. The federal intel and law enforcement agencies knew about the warnings of a massive disturbance at the Capitol on Jan. 6, Carlson said, but the frontline officers on duty that day did not know."

"We should have been better prepared that day, and we could have been better prepared that day if the information was disseminated like it was supposed to be," Johnson said."

With several months prior notice and all the advance Intel they needed, the Democrats, DC Mayor, DOJ, FBI, ATF, DHS, and local /. District, and federal law enforcement FAILED to prevent the J6 protest violence and FAILED to protect the capitol.

The J6 Committee did not want that story to be told, though. Johnson is right - the focus was on Donald Trump.

Fascinating interview. One of the rioters out a MAGA hat on him and he was afraid that if he took it off he would have been beaten by Trump supporters.

But didn’t Tucker say that the crowd was meek and orderly?

Doesn't matter what Tucker or anyone else said. The fact remains that the Jan 6th committee were geared to investigate only Donald Trump right from the beginning and that's why they didn't release all of the testimony and videos. Whatever didn't further their objective was swept under the rug. Every single person on this committee was an anti-Trumper, taking away all fairness in the investigation.

The weak attempt by Carlson doesn’t affect any of the factual findings from the committee.

Because he's spreading propaganda and it's working.
All he's doing is releasing the videos Democrats didn't release. That's why it's working. It's what BOTH parties do, spread propaganda for their political benefit. That's what the Jan 6th committee/investigation was all about - spreading propaganda for Democrat's political advantage and why they did it during prime time and why they only released only what they wanted to release.

He's doing a LOT more than that. He's applying his own interpretation to these videos which is clearly a highly biased opinion. For example, the way he describes the protestors as meek and respectful.

LOL. Well, we had a Jan 6th committee filled 100% with anti-Trumpers applying their own interpretation to everything they could use to their political benefit.

The January 6th committee did a far better job defending their statements.

Tucker Carlson spends ten minutes telling us what to believe about the riot based in 60 seconds of video, half of which doesn’t even show what he claims.

Not to mention we know what Carlson’s motivations are. He’s just in it for attention. We know he will say whatever it takes to please his audience.

Link the Tucker quote or GTFO.

You are a cult fuck partisan. The Dems withheld exculpatory evidence. For you to want people in prison because of tribalism is fucked.

Prove Tucker claimed the crowd was “meek and orderly”.

Thanks for your one sided biased opinion. Others have a different opinion. You yourself said it is working, admitting that many have a different opinion than you do.

Of course they have a different opinion, but that doesn't mean they're right.

Tucker Carlson's voice over of the video ignores significant facts and sometimes directly contradicts what is being seen. For example, he claimed that Chansley was given a tour, but most of the video shows the police following Chansley, not the other way around.

Your own post busted you.

”The crowd was enormous. A small percentage of them were hooligans. They committed vandalism. You've seen their pictures again and again. But the overwhelming majority weren't. They were peaceful. They were orderly and meek. These were not insurrectionists. They were sightseers.”

That is the quote. You are a liar.

HE SAID THE VAST MAJORITY WERE PEACEFUL. THEY WRE ORDERLY AND MEEK.

When you have to lie, your argument is shit.

So he did say orderly and meek.

Gotcha.

Still destroys the narrative that this cop was so scared for his life he refused to take off a MAGA hat that they put on his head.

Doesn't mean your opinion is right either.

I can back my opinions up though. Carlson makes little attempt to do so, probably because as soon as you scratch the surface of his narrative, it starts to crumble. For example, he says Chansley was escorted into the Senate Chambers. Well, he was followed into the chambers by an officer where we have video of that officer talking to the people and asking them repeatedly to leave, as well as explaining that he couldn’t force them given he was outnumber five to one.

Not everything is an opinion, however. The claim is made again and again that the rioters were let into the Capitol by police. That’s a factual assertion that has no substantiation.
