Around where I live, the schools have the blue, police pull stations...like fire alarm pull stations in buildings, but these go directly to the police station, bypassing the 911 call center, speeding the response time of all the officers in the area.......

The determining factor in how many lives are saved is how soon you get someone with a gun confronting the shooter........which is another reason to have some of the staff trained and armed.....they keep mass public shooters away.

What good would letting the police station know? The cops are usually on patrol.

What is you proposal

I am a realist. I know gun people wont give up their guns and would skirt the law if passed (just like people will get abortions regardless of law). What I'd do is spend billions a year to make schools as impenetrable as the legislature houses, judicial houses, governor mansions are to attack. Those asshole sit in their protected locations on my tax dollars and do nothing about children being killed. I want to protect our kids as well as they are protected. Do they deserve more or less?
