When you make more gun laws they are aimed at reducing gun ownership for law abiding citizens, not criminals. Criminals will never give up their guns and if they lose one, they'll just get another.

The root of the problem is gun proliferation.
The cops are kind of useless. I've never called a cop and had them arrive in a timely manner. They usually show up in time to take reports.

For the jails. We've been over this, too. We lock up 2 million people. Do you really think locking up 3 million people is going to solve the problem? We have 100 million Americans with a rap sheet. Are we going to lock them all up?
