Majority support birthright Citizenship

You mean RIGHT. Quit rationalizing your defeat with your head up your ass. Trump won the national election getting more votes than any other president in in history in a non-contested race. Trump won all 7 swing states. Trump won the popular vote.

The majority of people in this country voted for Trump.

Wrong again. Try reading instead of just spitting more nonsense.
I did. I read the first article in that link of articles your provided, which basically just argued trying to count non-voters.

Wrong.. whatever "in in history in a non-contested race" is supposed to mean.
Trump got 77 million votes. Only one election got more, the contested fraud 2020 election where many states did illegal things and the left admitted they spent a year and 400 million dollars setting up the election so that only Biden would win.

FACT: Trump won the election with room to spare, 312 to 220 EC votes.
FACT: Trump won all 7 swing states.
FACT: Trump won the popular vote.
FACT: The majority of voters in this country support Trump.

Seems like, once again, the tail is trying to wag the dog:

As the Supreme Court takes up President Trump's push to end birthright citizenship today, a new NPR/Ipsos poll finds that less than a third of all Americans want to drop the longstanding principle that any child born on U.S. soil is automatically a citizen, even as other parts of the White House's immigration crackdown draw wider support.
Public opinion on Trump's proposal to end birthright citizenship, which the vast majority of legal scholars believe is enshrined in the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, has shifted very little since he announced the plan in an executive order in January. 53% of poll respondents oppose the idea, with only 28% in favor. That's virtually unchanged since an NPR/Ipsos poll in February, when 31% supported the idea of ending birthright citizenship and 54% opposed it.
Well, it's the law, via the Constitution.

So, yeah, regular Americans are going to go w/that.

I believe you. My bad. However, I get this:
Search Labs | AI Overview

In the
2020 presidential election, Donald Trump received approximately 74.2 million votes, which accounted for 46.8% of the popular vote. He won 232 electoral votes, while Joe Biden won the election with 306 electoral votes and 51.3% of the popular vote.
In 2020 Biden actually won a majority of the popular vote.
In the 2024 presidential election, Donald Trump won 77,284,118 votes, or 49.8 percent of the votes cast for president. This represents a higher percentage of the popular vote than he received in either the 2016 or 2020 elections.
A 3% higher percentage than in 2020 to be exact. Still only a plurality, never a majority as you previously insisted. Many have won in the past with far higher percentages and majorities of the vote than either Trump or Biden.
Trump got 77 million
And blah, blah.. All uncontested and irrelevant.
FACT: The majority of voters in this country support Trump.
You wish.

Public opinion polls in the United States show varying levels of support for Donald Trump, but recent data does not indicate that he has the support of a majority of all voters.

You wish.

NO. Not I wish. The majority of voters voted for Trump. Millions more over Kammy Harris. No one argues that but you. That fact is now in the lexicon of history.

You wish. More like the lexicon of BS. Trump won the election. No one's argued that he didn't win a majority of the Electoral College electors. States other than Maine and Nebraska use a "winner-take-all" system to allocate their Electoral College votes. The candidate receiving a plurality of votes (i.e., most, not necessarily a majority) receives all of that state's electoral votes.

Electors are not voters. The majority of voters did not vote for Trump. No landslide. No mandate. A lame-duck at best. Deal with it.

**** you. Why is it that when Hillary won a couple million, she was the popular candidate. You count who actually VOTED, dimwit, not all of the POTENTIAL voters, because NO ONE ever gets all of the potential voters, Alice, they get whoever was spurred to vote, otherwise, candidates should be pulling in 150 million votes, not just 65-75 million.

Not only did Trump kill it in the electoral college, not only did he take all seven swing states, not only did ALL FIFTY states swing farther towards or into the red, but TRUMP WON THE MAJORITY OF VOTES--- ie, millions more than Kammy The Salad Eater.

Add to the fact that Trump got more uncontested votes than any other president in history, but he also took significant gains in blacks, latinos, immigrants, etc. Trump did about as well as any party could ever hope for, and 2024 was democrats worst nightmare--- the left shot their face off with their own gun.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

President Barack Obama issued 277 orders during his presidency.

His predecessor, President George W. Bush, issued 291 orders over eight years,

while President Bill Clinton had 364 executive orders during his two terms in office.

biden got more votes that Trump in the first election

trump got more votes than Harris

Showing he can be a woman

Still it is the electoral college that decides who will be the president.

Trump won the electoral college both times and that is why he is president

It is not because he popular, it because the system is rigged to give him and republicans a chance.

If it was just the number of votes, republican presidential canidates would rarely win.

Unfortunatly the electoral college is how the president is elected.

I guess it keeps republican from starting a revolution.

Contested.

It is not because he popular,
Trump is the most popular president since Ronny Reagan.

it because the system is rigged to give him and republicans a chance.

But it IS up to the number of votes. Think about it--- most every state runs a popular election and basically, whoever gets the most votes wins the state. But Ca and NY are such large states and so massively populated, that if we ran a purely national popular vote, then those two states would probably determine the outcome of every election.

That is why we have the Electoral College, so that every state gets a fair vote, a say in their governance, and so that even states like Rhode Island, Connecticut, Montana and Wyoming have some say in the outcome, and as such, get some representation.

Unfortunatly the electoral college is how the president is elected.
You mean fortunately; the EC was a brilliant idea and solution to preserving democracy, and no one can be for true democracy yet be against the EC, as it gives every state a voice in picking our presidents.

Contested.

what afraid of a total vote count with the winner being the one with the most votes.

EC just evens the playing field and gives your guy a chance.

The most popular president gets the most total votes. The electoral college is just to give republicans a chance once in a while.

I'll say it again for the last time: Not only is mob rule the very kind of government America was founded to get away from, but a pure popular vote would end up only having 2-3 states decide the outcome of every election.

EC just evens the playing field and gives your guy a chance.
I get it: you have a problem with having an even playing field and giving your opponent a fair chance.

The most popular president gets the most total votes.
Presidential elections are not based on pure popularity, but thanks for letting us know that Trump is the most popular president.

The electoral college is just to give republicans a chance once in a while.
Last time then you go on Ignore: the purpose of the EC is so that one or a few states cannot monopolize every election. But either way, Trump won the EC by a HUGE margin AND he won the popular vote, too.
