Majority support birthright Citizenship

There is no such thing as an "anchor baby."
You keep saying that.

You keep being wrong. :auiqs.jpg: :itsok:

And it's time to put an end to them being here.

Even if we have to "eat" the status of those already here and just make it apply to those born after such-a-so a future date.

Meanwhile, we send their parents home, and, of course, if the babies are still under-age, they go back with their parents.

They can always have a piece of paper saying that the Anchor Babies are allowed to come back in after attaining their majority.

Incorrect.

In common parlance, an Anchor Baby is one born to Illegal Aliens while on United States soil.

In hopes of being allowed to remain in the country because they child was automatically designated as a US citizen.

The baby therefore "anchors" them on US soil.

A common occurrence repeated hundreds of thousands of times over the past several decades.

The "practice" became so well and commonly known that it spawned the Birth Tourism Industry of recent decades.

An Industry that is quickly being shut down thanks to the present Administration.

Your insistence that Anchor Babies do not exist does not negate the FACT that Anchor Babies exist in the hundreds of thousands.

No Sale.

I'm pretty libertarian regarding immigration. If they're not criminals, they should be welcome to visit, and stay if they like.

But i don't see any reason to keep birthright citizenship. Getting rid of it wouldn't have much impact, in my view, but if it would eliminate all the hand wringing over "anchor babies", I'm for it.

Are you a U.S. Citizen? How do you know? Where were you born? Are your hands prepared to wring yet?

"Hopes" that have no reflection in law or reality.

Under trump the baby does not get to be an anchor

But with libs in power it certainly could be

Look at it from a chinese woman’s point of view

When (not if) things get so bad in china that no one wants to live there her child can be sent to America and eventually sponsor the mother for a green card

Her point of view is that her child will be able to obtain an education in the US when he is old enough.
