Jesus was “running an apocalyptic movement," the video said. "He believed the world was ending.” Not true. He believed the age was ending, as did many other Jews. In Matthew 19:28, for example, “in the new world” means “in the regeneration” or “in the new age.”
A common mistake among atheists and Christians alike, so I assumed the video would continue to misrepresent.
First Point: “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple” (Lk 14:26).
To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” And Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God” (Lk 9:59-60).
Jesus hated the Pharisees. Also their scribes, the elders, and the chief priests. Jews in general, save for those who would hear his message and embrace the kingdom of God, which repudiated their temple cult.
“Everyone outside my movement is spiritually dead,” the AI bot said. Well, duh. The same point is made in the next line in Luke: Yet another said, “I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.” Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God” (9:61-62).
Jesus was dismissive their traditions. The Kingdom and the new world would be dismissive of them. The choice was rather stark: either Moses or Jesus.
Second Point: “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life” (Jn 6:53-54).
You gotta be kidding me. After Jesus had just contrasted himself as the living bread as opposed to the manna in the wilderness? And did he not expect to be executed? That the disciples were literally sitting around the table slicing off pieces of Jesus’ flesh and lapping up his blood is ridiculous.
Third Point: the dishonest manager (Lk 16:1-13).
Yes, this one’s kind of tough, but verse 11 seems to add clarity to it. “If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?” The usury was dishonest and unrighteous, and Jesus did not condone it.
Fourth Point: Jesus curses the fig tree in Mark.
Jesus also calls this tree a mountain and curses it (22). This fig tree may have been an actual tree, but it was a lesson on the doomed Jewish state. A state that was not bearing fruit. A tree was a nation. Foreigners would be grafted onto Israel’s tree, for example. Israel was a tree to be cut down root and branch, as Malachi foretold. The tree called Babylon extended its branches to heaven and provided nourishment and rest to the birds and the beasts (Dn 4:4-18). That nation was a great tree under whose shade a multitude of peoples found sanctuary.
Isaiah referred to ethnic Israel and her temple as a mountain (2:2).
Jesus parlayed this event into a parable that, like so many other parables, foretold the doom of the temple cult.

There is a particular knowledge that everyone gains with age, its called Wisdom, its then we first become accountable to the Laws of God. (2 Tim. 3:15). It is the innate duty of all parents to teach our children to fear God and obey His Laws, when the parents fail........in this case Idol Worshipers that worshiped false gods through sacrificing Humans at a false alter, they suffered God's righteous judgment.
God did not destroy the offspring because the children were being punished because THEY HAD SINNED..........but, God vowed to destroy these Idol worshipers entire lineage from the face of the earth.
The simple truth. It was better for these children to die before they reached the age of reason as taught by their parents. Innocent Children do not face judgement, they enter the Father's House automatically at death. (Matt. 19:13-15)
Which is better........allow these children to live and grow under the teachings of their clan (Idol Worship and Human sacrifice) or to die while innocent void of any accounting of the LAW? Its the human soul that God saves......not the flesh. Its the entire message presented in the Word of God. All men die......Jesus provides a path to save the human soul.......He's is not interested in feeding the flesh, but the Spirit of Man (John 6:26-27)
