Ezekiel 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:Cougar,..... Both "Houses", were,.... United at one time, and both Houses had access to The Torah.
And no where is it written, that a Prophet in One House, was not known of by those in the other House.
As far as "their own writings", give me 3 examples, of what You Believe, of what one "House" had/has, that the other "House" does not have.
Ezekiel 37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
Verse 22 states two nations or houses. At one time, Israel was divided into two nations. The nation of the north, Israel and the nation of the south, Judah. Benjamin was caught half way in both. The house of Judah and the House of Joseph (Israel). The Lord is saying in the last days, he will join the two together into one nation. Their writings in their sticks (books of scripture) will become one in our hands, the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why LDS say that The Book of Mormon contains the fulness of the Gospel. So, the prophets and apostles (New Testament) wrote in the Book of Judah which includes the Torah. Prophets and Apostles in The Book of Mormon (Stick of Joseph through Ephraim) wrote prophecy and instructions in The Book of Mormon. Jeremiah and Lehi knew each other as they both lived in Jerusalem. But, Lehi's house of Joseph moved to a far off land, the Americas. So, in those days, it would be hard for the prophets of both houses to know each other. That's why this prophecy in Ezekiel was a future prophecy of these the latter days when the two can come together and even converse to one another.
