Zone1 If God Is All Powerful, All Knowing, and All Loving, Then Why Didn't He Create Us To Be Perfect Like Himself

Not as hard as starving to death.

Not as hard as being homeless

Not as hard as having cancer

It was a temporary inconvenience
Maybe it was but that doesn't take away that it was hard for many people. It shouldn't be a "this is right" and "your wrong" issue. Everyone went through it - we all went through it together.

We did but I refuse to agree that it was some unmitigated catastrophic event. It was a temporary inconvenience to most people that is now over but , man, do people want to keep whining about it.

Go up the thread and watch the videos I posted--training videos on surgical masks v. respirators and their effectiveness re: airborne respiratory viruses. The masks did nothing. This is well-established.

It was a Moral Panic because wearing of masks etc. was couched in moral terms, which too many people still buy into. You were a "good person" or "doing the right thing" if you wore a mask. Ironically, this was also couched as "follow the science" even though the science on this was 100% wrong.

Even the smart people on this board who realize this now say "so what, what did it hurt?" which is not the point. It was wrong. It was harmful. And too many people bought in lock, stock and barrel. Obviously, this is dangerous for our society.

MD Stands for "Memorization Degree"

Repressed Mamas' Boys who spend 8 years working without pay in college because they are afraid to grow up. These immature brown-noses can't be trusted. They cram for exams and forget most of the material soon afterwards. Even what they remember is knowledge without understanding.

If God has the power to do anything imaginable and knows all things, certainly He would have the power to make us to be exactly like himself. Certainly He would know how to make us perfect like himself, and if He truly loves us, then he would certainly make us to be the best we could be. So why did God create us as imperfect sinful beings instead of perfect beings just like himself?

Some have answered this by saying that God gave us free will and because of this mankind has chosen to be imperfect. However, this does not really answer the dilemma. If God created us to be perfect like Himself, then we would make perfect choices given that we are created to be perfect even as God is perfect. Does God have free will? Does God make bad choices?

As a Christian, how would you respond to this problem of imperfect and evil?
because the Lord is looking for imperfection in a person's perfectly

this is the qualification to enter the Kingdom of God

Matthew 18: 2-5 And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them, and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you
turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me,

1 John 1: 8-9 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Romans 10: 10-17 For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved. The Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?

As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ.

the lord is saying that wisdom men and women cannot enter the kingdom, but wisdom children can enter imperfection in a person's perfectly.
Matthew 5: 5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

the Meek, patient, long-suffering, forbearing, resigned, gentle, quiet, and shy.
Galatians 5: 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentlenesses, self-control; against such things, there is no law.

God is God, and Jesus is our Shepherd.

As believers we are the sheep who hear and follow our Shepherd, and that is God's blueprint for the hierarchy of his creation. God never makes a bad choice-not ever. God lets us choose and reject and we get the consequences that follow our choices. God is good. He's real good.
