It is both for us. We are no longer speaking to some family members and definitely have several former friends due major political view disagreements.

How about you?

If you do, I think it is a sign you take it way too seriously. I have a buddy I walk with, an evangelical Christian conservative, all things I'm not, and we talk politics and religion all the time. We laugh a lot and tweak each other but we are still friends who respect each other.

And you don't know how much I appreciate that because most of these liberals (and from the looks of things right now even some conservatives) on here cannot do this to save their lives and so I honestly just can't be friendly with these people on here although I've tried many, many, MANY times but they're just a bunch of school children.
