From the Depths of Hell
The short supply of diesel throughout the world and harvest season looming the harsh reality is we might see a disaster that could have been prevented decades ago.

Boys, Girls and Unisex users let me be clear Diesel is the most important fuel the World uses and with short supplies and high demand tell you shit is about to hit the fan and you believe the pain you feel now is bad, well just wait!

Enjoy the article:

I only need about 700 gallons to get me to California and back this winter.

You know, diesel was less expensive than gasoline until 2004. l Now? The main reason it is more expensive is because of the manufacturing process to make it contain less sulfur (but that isn't that much) and the taxes that are imposed on it (which is almost twice the tax that is imposed on gasoline). But, diesel and gas both come from the refining process, so if you have oil to make gas, you also have diesel being produced. This article sounds like a whole bunch of fear mongering.

BTW...................know who was president when diesel became more expensive than gas in this country? George Bush Jr.

And it became cleaner. These days diesel trucks no longer spew volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air. VOCs cause smog when they react with sunlight. Due to their geography, smog becomes a huge air pollution problem in many densely populated cities around the globe that are prone to temperature inversions. Places like Los Angeles, Beijing, Tehran, Mexico City, etc, etc... Cities near mountain ranges.

New clean diesel technology has selective catalytic reduction (SCR), so basically we now have gigantic fleets of huge air cleaners roaming our highways 24/7/365. SCR converts all those VOCs into harmless carbon dioxide and water vapor.

Is isn’t fear mongering but stating we might have a true issue with short supplies of diesel.

Taxes cause the increase in prices and the new way we refine it but with many places not accepting Russian fuel we now have a shortage on our side and it will hit us hardest during harvest season.

Diesel is the main fuel the keep our system running and with higher prices and shortages you can expect pain at the pump and grocery store.

When they work. My company's total for emission system repairs on the trucks was about $120,000. We still have a truck that nobody can keep running right more than two days.
