If he had kept his mouth shut and gotten behind Trump instead of stabbing him (and others) in the back, he would most likely have been on the ticket as VP pick for Trump. I guess it's good that we got to see him for what he really is BEFORE Donald made a big mistake. Cruz is so power hungry for the presidency, he might have tried to pull a Dallas on Trump like Johnson did with Kennedy. He's a Senator from Texas too.

Cruz made many mistakes.

Actually, it's his fault he helped create the anti-government, racist, us-vs-them environment that created Trump.

You see, used to be a point where Democrats and Republicans respectfully disagreed, compromised somewhere in the middle, and kept things running.

Then a bunch of assholes came along and convinced angry white people that their misery was caused by the government and not big corporations and the wealthy attacking their middle class lifestyle.

Trump was just better at riling up the anger that Cruz helped create by being an asshole. So it was kind of funny to watch him flail around yesterday arguing with voters asking him if he is a Canadian or the kid who yelled 'you suck'.

Hoist on your own petard.

Now, the real question is, are you going to have enough integrity to reject Trump and all his ugliness in November.

BTW those @$$#$%& have names. Washington, Adam, Jefferson, Madison, Franklin etc. They realized limiting the government was the way to sublease human potential. Trading our liberty away in compromise after compromise will not bring us life, liberty, or happiness. I'll gladly stand with them.

Guy I wasn't talking about THOSE slave-raping assholes. I was talking about the modern bunch, Reagan and afterwards, that talked the white working class out of all the gains it made between 1900 and 1970 by playing on their racial, sexual and religious fears.
