When Chuck Schumer D-NY says "Trump to pick new running mate, claims Vance is 'best thing he's ever done for Democrats'", it must be the right choice.

New Yorkers might consider picking a new senator. The quality of life has declined since Schumer decided that New York should be an open city and a democrat stronghold that disregards tradition and tries to destroy people like Trump who built things and gave good jobs and America's Mayor who held NY together after 9-11. In a just world Schumer would be investigated and possibly charged for his role in creating a mob to surround the homes of Supreme Court Justices and the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh.

If a Rep ever picked a VP and the Dems said, "ok, reasonable choice," that would be the time to take another look at that person.

This might have been true until Heels Up Harris chose TimPon Walz as her running mate. For some it's the last straw pushing them to Trump.

One of the podcasts had a good albeit conventional take on Vance’s pick.

When they were running against Biden, the absolute paradigm of the Trump campaign was to get out the vote with the maximum number of pissed off white people. For that end, Vance was a good pick. The guy seems to bring nothing to the table other than being permanently pissed.

Now that they are running against Harris and Walz, the target changed from Biden who has been a good president but isn't overly inspirational. Vance’s appeal is still to get out the maximum number of angry white folks bout the Vance/Trump ticket is, it looks like, hemorrhaging the cross-over Democrats they were attracting.

The margin is still paper thin but the indicators are a good sign thus far for Democrats and liberals.

Put another way; good news for the good guys.
