So....how did British gun control laws stop this shooting? And how did they keep this from adding to the gun murder rate in Britain? The fact that the shooter didn't shoot to kill is what kept this from adding to their count, no British gun control laws...

Knotty Ash dad "hired gunman" after scooter yobs threatened him

A dad rammed two youths off a scooter in a city street before a masked accomplice fired a shotgun over their heads.

Paul O’Neill claimed his family were threatened by yobs after his son’s scooter was stolen and he went to police.

Liverpool Crown Court heard the 50-year-old recruited an unidentified gunman and set off in his Audi after two young males.

The dad-of-two deliberately knocked them off the vehicle in Kingsheath Avenue, Knotty Ash at around 2.30pm on August 20 last year.

His accomplice jumped out and fired the gun over the youths’ heads – causing pellets to hit the wall of an unoccupied house.

Why do you post such pathetic crap? You are no longer just a gun nut, you are a gun nut clown. One guy didn't shoot to kill the intended victims. That tells nothing about England's low gun related death rate.

Dear 2aguy
The US has entire prison populations under a system that
breeds more criminals and makes them worse.
Fix the broken criminal justice system,
which requires fixing the mental health mess and
profits made off addiction and abuse with both legal and illegal drugs,
and then maybe we can do something about
crime and violence, including with guns.

If you are going to compare Britain
with the US, better to pick a state that is
relatively closer to the same size and demographics of population.

Reality, thou hast escaped thee.
