Some stories of the failure of British gun control laws to keep guns out of the hands of violent criminals...
Notice.....the criminals in Britain are pretty smart.....when they shoot people there, they shoot them in the legs....that way the odds of killing them are much smaller.....they get the effect of having a gun, but they don't get the murder charge...
This is one of the major differences between American criminals and British criminals...they both have guns, the British criminals are just smart enough to wound, not kill....

Two gunmen were reportedly heard shouting "give us our money" before forcing their way into a house and shooting a man in the leg in the shadow of Anfield stadium.
The victim was heard screaming after the violent scenes inside a property on Norgate Street, Anfield, in the early hours of today (Tuesday, August 2). This morning a house on the corner with Sleepers Hill was cordoned off by police, with shattered front windows and black marks covering the front door.

A quiet Merseyside village was shaken by a shooting outside a pub in broad daylight.
At around 4.20pm on July 31, a man was shot in the leg outside the Golden Lion pub, in Rainford, St Helens. With the small rural village normally being one of the most quiet areas in the region, the community has been left deeply concerned.
At the time of the shooting, both a cricket match and a christening were taking place in the surrounding area. One resident who lives on a street surrounding the pub told the ECHO : "It's absolutely shocking, you just don't get stuff like that going on around here.
