That's total nonsense. Trump was not allowed to run his companies when he was President. The dems had a conniption.

He put everything into a trust and Don Jr. and Weisselberg were the trustees. Trump was the sole beneficiary. Trump's holding company and other entities were put into the trust.

He still had a personal checking account, but he had the company controller keep his books for him, which is not at all unusual for owners of closely-held private companies to do.

The trust does not engage in commerce as an independent entity, it just holds the assets. The companies within the trust are their own separate LLC's and have their own accounting.

Those accounts were not company accounts- they were personal funds- even the money from the trust was his to dispose of however he wanted. At worst, the first two checks might be called a "business record", but the rest were clearly personal checks.

That changes nothing as far as the checks are concerned, and the fact that only the first two were even from the trust.

What 3 weeks of testimony has shown is that Pecker and Cohen were keeping an eye out for women coming out of the woodwork, and Trump approved a couple of NDA's when that happened.

And that Cohen was cheating his client when he sought reimbursement for his payments to Daniels and Red Finch.

You guys are trying to spin it into some big conspiracy to influence an election, but it's something that politicians and celebrities do all the time and not at all illegal.

They didn't even use campaign funds, the whole thing is a big fat nothingburger. So pathetic.

Boy are you going to be disappointed when this case falls through. Even if this compromised judge and jury did convict, it wouldbe overturned. The thing is, they don’t care. It is really all about election interference at this point. If Joe/Kamala win the election, they won’t be too concerned about this any more. It will slowly fade away as if nothing ever happened. If Trump wins, they likely have a slew more fraudulent cases on the docket.
