SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger maintains a commanding lead over his Democratic challenger with less than two weeks until Election Day, according to poll results released on Thursday by the Public Policy Institute of California.

Forty-eight percent of likely voters surveyed said they favored the celebrity Republican governor, compared with 30 percent who said they would support Democratic state Treasurer Phil Angelides and 13 percent who were undecided.
