Gay "rights" is a winning issue for the democrats. A losing issue for the GOP and a killing issue for gays. Maybe that's the way it is supposed to be. The more recognition they get, the more they die.

Gays did not cause the downfall of Rome. Acceptance of homosexuality is a symptom of a wider societal disease that contrbuted to the collapse of the Roman civilization. As it has to every other civiilization that did the same thing.

You keep repeating what you think gays are doing, but not how. How does my legal marriage to the love of my life have any influence on yours or anyone else's life? How does civil marriage "undermine" religious marriage?

Kids need parents that love and provide for them. The gender of those parents, as studies have shown, is immaterial.

No they weren't accepted. The value of homosexuality has never been passed on as a societal value to any succeeding civilization. That acceptance has to be reaccomplished each and every time.

Roman slaves engaged in sex performances for paying customers which included homosexuality as well as sex with animals. Like any freak show.

Notice I am distinguishing acceptance of homosexuality from homosexuality. Homosexuality has been present in humanity as long as there has been humanity in roughly the same percentage. Homosexuality is benign. It is of no benefit nor harm. When it becomes accepted, it becomes toxic.
