"Day of Terror" by amish1 - Member since 3/04 - amish1 is 13 years old and wrote this poem when he was only in the 6th grade.

Day of Terror

September 11 started all the same
Sinister events would earn it’s fame
3,000 innocent people suddenly killed
Making field of horror forever tilled
Sadness, anger both were felt
Yet American courage did not melt
It was a day of unthinkable terror,
a day of never-ending stress
Their punishment should be no less
An evil plan by a sinister evil man
Coalition forces go as fast as you can
The anti-wars should hold their breath
And try to understand all of the death
To stop the horrific Iraqi regime
Kuwaiti freedom it should redeem
Flight 93 is not in vain
For the heroes battled on in the plane
When we saw the damage our hearts were locked
By that time governmental guns were cocked
They were days of terror, days of stress
Their punishment will be no less

DKSuddeth has been a member since October of 2003. DK participates and adds plenty to just about every forum on the United States Message Board. He's got the ability to enter a fiery debate and then post in the humor forum just seconds later. Like so many of us, he is passionate about what he believes in. He is open to hear the opposing view and is always respectful of those who disagree with him. Recently, DK was promoted to moderator of the United States Message Board. Personally, I couldn't be happier about this decision. He has brought a side to the board that has been lacking for quite some time. I am proud to have him as a friend and partner on the board.

Congratulations DKSuddeth, and thanks for being a valuable member of the US Message Board Community!

Honorable mention goes to jon_forward and Johnney for their active participation in so many forums. They realized early on that there is a lot more to the board than just politics. They've both made the board a much more enjoyable place to be.
