Blowing Up Darwin

You don’t identify which gods you believe magically created life on the planet. That the beginning of the universe and planets is not understood by you is no reason for anyone to accept, “the gods did it”.

There is nothing unexplainable about how purely natural means are the answer to the beginning of the universe and formation of the planets.
You talked up the God Angle. Why are you saying to me what you said given you brought up god? By the way, your idea was not well thought out. That dirt decided one day Earth needed life so Dirt decided to create life.

She confirmed to me, and you should have read her reply, that is precisely her idea.
Actually she also mentioned GOD though I did not.
I confirmed to you that there is no reason to accept that anything other than natural processes have been the cause of life developing and evolving on the planet.

Let’s not pretend that your appeals to supernaturalism are about anything other than appeals to gods.

That isn't anyone's idea. That's a strawman you invented for yourself to argue against, for lack of intelligent responses to the points people actually make.

Selection by physical forces caused life to form, just as this principle causes every observable object to form as it does.
So, when did this mysterious process stop working?

No, you're diddling a strawman. Please spare us the low IQ trolling.

Selection by physical forces caused life to form.

And life did indeed form, as you have already admitted yourself.
That is precisely what you have done today. Diddle a strawman. I have asked you many times to prove your claims yet never have you proven any of them. You think you explained it. But you just made a claim you can't prove. The issue is not did Life form. That is trolling on your part.

Nonsense. Life from dirt is an appeal to Christian fundamentalism. You just can’t be honest about your appeals to supernaturalism being a sidestep for your religious extremism.

Then you know the natural processes??? I don't believe you know at all. What are they?
Would you claim that there is just one populated planet?

Just another bit of fear and superstition tossed aside as knowledge and the sciences matured.
Science is a wonderful thing. Sadly, it seems to have fallen into the wrong hands.

I read your claims. And if not from dirt, then what? See I say from dirt and you talk about religion.

Life from dirt is a metaphor, meaning that man is of the elemental earth, earthy.

Natural processes would be biological evolution, complex chemical reactions occurring In incalculable numbers. Simple, explainable and demonstrated.

Biological life exists on one planet we know of.

Shirley, your angry, vindictive gods would have created and destroyed life on other planets. Isn’t that what they do?

What is in life that is not found in dirt? She wants to talk about god is all I gather she does.

Actually go back to Abiogenesis. Scientists have tried to do it in the lab and so far can't do it. This proves scientists have no clue what creates life.

No it doesn't, and this is easily the dumbest post in the thread.

We also can't make a volcano in a lab. Or a hurricane. But we have much more than "a clue" about how both from.

You know this is dumb. I think you are intentionally posting stupid things to derail the discussion.

What claim would you like to dicuss?
The one where you imagine how life started. Big boy words please. Don't be shy since you think you know how life started. (were you a decent person, I would have corrected your big word above that you can't spell correctly.)

You are way in over your head. Imagine if you actually knew something. You would not talk that way.

A metaphor that is convenient to explain a rather nonsensical biblical claim.

The problem we have is that “it’s just a metaphor” is used arbitrarily and capriciously to define out of absurdity the really absurd claims in the Bibles.

'I know a metaphor when I see one.'' So, was Noah’s yachting adventure “cruise to nowhere” just a metaphor?
