"Hey, it's worked so well in Venezuela, why not try it here?"

I'm ready for Venezuelan style socialsim!

I've bought the perfect garbage can to eat out of

It's colorful and fun and clean.

The effects of eating Tide pods, Millennials are mental defectives,
Insults aside, they still vote.

Vote or not, there is still a Constitution.
But a little thing like the Constitution has never stopped the
9TH Circuit Court before

The 9th does not have the final say, and to put a point on it, neither does the SCOTUS.

that says half don't. so no majority. sorry, fail
Did you see the word "trend" in my post?

Maybe trends don't matter to you. Like demographics.

That's up to you.
.
well how does you link back your statement? you posted the link and I commented on your link. half don't. I saw nothing about trending. It was a poll. the poll showed half don't. I spoke fact. you're upset you missed that. that's on you.

Ok, cherry pick my posts, that's okay. I know how the game is played.

Let's try this: We already have socialist elements in America. Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, various government departments.

Are we socialist?

We are closer to socialism than capitalism in many areas, people just do not want to admit it.

How else do we make sure our lowest grade is well taken care of?
Hussein spent eight long years busting his ass to move this nation closer to Venezuela didn’t he?

What scares me is that the same young liberals who seem to be ready to embrace socialism are as confused about what distinguishes socialism and capitalism as are the dusty, old curmudgeons who set out trying to turn it into a scary word in the first place by spreading ignorance and false information.

Yeah. We've distorted and confused and over-used so many words at this point, it's difficult to know what is actually behind them.

I guess if I had just borrowed (AKA I'll never repay) 80K to learn how shoemakers in medieval times used beets to dye leather and then left my warm and cozy Liberal Indoctrination Center (AKA college) only to find the only job I could get was making expensive burnt coffee for the tradesmen and other people with marketable skills, who could afford 8 bucks for a fucking coffee, I'd be thinking that what my Socialist/Communist professors claim was indeed true.
That countries like Venezuela (where female doctors are selling their bodies for a roll of toilet paper) and Cuba and pretty much every Socialist country in the world are great places to live instead of the USA, which is full of wealthy assholes who hate everybody.
These LIB snowflakes ought to secretly borrow another $1000 from their mommies and take a trip to a Socialist country.
We'll see them literally fall to their knees and kiss the tarmac when they arrived back in America.

I think the term is perceived to be a bit closer to Europe than to Venezuela.

This all exists on a continuum. For example, we already have elements of socialism here. That doesn't make us socialist.
.
A couple of decades ago Socialism was all the rage throughout many parts of Europe.
Now the voters in those countries have watched their country implode and they are rejecting Socialism.

Ask the voters in Socialist European countries what they think about Socialism.
Take a trip to Portugal/Spain/Italy and learn the facts on the ground.
Socialism is a plague.
From Venezuela to France, Socialism Is Failing All Over the World
