What scares me is that the same young liberals who seem to be ready to embrace socialism are as confused about what distinguishes socialism and capitalism as are the dusty, old curmudgeons who set out trying to turn it into a scary word in the first place by spreading ignorance and false information.

What scares me is that the same young liberals who seem to be ready to embrace socialism are as confused about what distinguishes socialism and capitalism as are the dusty, old curmudgeons who set out trying to turn it into a scary word in the first place by spreading ignorance and false information.
I guess if I had just borrowed (AKA I'll never repay) 80K to learn how shoemakers in medieval times used beets to dye leather and then left my warm and cozy Liberal Indoctrination Center (AKA college) only to find the only job I could get was making expensive burnt coffee for the tradesmen and other people with marketable skills, who could afford 8 bucks for a fucking coffee, I'd be thinking that what my Socialist/Communist professors claim was indeed true.It appears, though, that the trend is in their favor:
