Why's it gotta be a joke or insult when discussing sexuality? Isn't it something we all enjoy and look fowards to?
Studying the historical depiction of sexuality I find myself wondering if the ability to represent sex graphicly and in film showed people all the possibilities, caused some resentment (I wish my sex life was like that.) and over time caused people to attack anyone comfortable with the subject since it only reminds them how lousy their sex lives are?
Is seeing sexuality what causes us to treat it so badly because we see it depicted as something very enjoyable and fun, yet most of our realities don't match up? If porn overall showed actual people, not models and professionals, having mediocre sex, would it be better thought of?
Is there a market for 'bad if realistic sex' porn?
