I've already read it and pointed out to you in a few posts, on this thread, days ago, that it is an opinion piece. And "supported" Hamas as a counterpoint to other Islamist, anti-Israel organizations while trying to pit and player them off of each other.

Obviously you have not studied or understood Sun Tzu's "Art of War".

The reason for letting payments continue was in hope they would be used to help the people in Gaza, not to get more weapons, and dig tunnels and other defensive fortifications while using the population as human shields.

Even if it was as you perceive, then there would be no harm in acting to correct a past mistake. It is the adult and reasonable thing to do when someone abuses the chance you gave them to be peaceful and co-operative.
