Thought For The Day by John Jaeger, MBA

The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. – Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emperor (121 - 180)

"While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion. To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian." --George Washington

One of the last statements that the atheist George Bernard Shaw said before his death in 1950 was that he had pinned his hopes on atheism, but he had found that atheism did not solve the problems of the world. "The science to which I pinned my faith is bankrupt. Its counsels, which should have established the millennium, have led directly to the suicide of Europe. I believed them once. In their name I helped to destroy the faith of millions. And now they look at me and witness the great tragedy of an atheist who has lost his faith." (Too True to Be Good).

“Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt.” — Samuel Adams (1749)

Sounds like New York, California, Washington, Oregon, and Illinois.

What did our greatest president think of godless Leftists (the counterpart to "right-wing religious extremists," as we have been called so often?

"The Hand of providence has been so conspicuous in all this, that he must be worse than an infidel that lacks faith, and more than wicked, that has not gratitude enough to acknowledge his obligations." —George Washington (1778)

“Men became scientific because they expected law in nature and they expected law in nature because they believed in a lawgiver. It was this conviction that led Francis Bacon (1561–1626), regarded by many as the father of modern science, to teach that God has provided us with two books – the book of Nature and the Bible –” – Professor John Lennox, Oxford University (God’s Undertaker: Has Science Buried God?)

Many years ago, when our two daughters lived at home and were big enough to help out, I had this epiphany. My wife worked hard at home and had a job as well. So we always had dinner together, the four of us. I announced, "From now on, when Mother cooks, the three of us will clean up afterwards. And, one day a week, we will prepare meals and clean up after ourselves." My wife liked that idea very much and so did I. I encourage all of you to use it at home to help build responsible young adults. If there is any day when Mothers should not have to clean up after dinner, it is today!

The west dominates the world and continues to lead the world in public standard of living due to six factors: competition, science, property rights, medicine, the consumer society and the work ethic, claims Niall Ferguson, in his book, Civilization: The West and the Rest

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” – Pierre Tielhard de Chardin

“Men became scientific because they expected law in nature, and they expected law in nature because they believed in law giver.” – C.S. Lewis

… the single most distinctive driving force which led to the guillotining, bludgeoning and imprisonment and torture of the tens of thousands of French peasants was, “reason replacing religion.” – Illogical Atheism by Bo Jinn

The only way to get rid of Christianity is to let it die out little by little. I especially wouldn’t want our movement to acquire a religious character and institute a form of worship. It would be appalling to me. – Adolf Hitler

Once the war was over, Hitler promised himself he would root out and destroy the Christian churches. Benito Mussolini, the world’s first fascist, was a staunchly affirmed atheist and anti-cleric.

The pervasive anti-religious bigotry of public schools and colleges extends to America’s libraries as well. When I learned of The Irrational Atheist by Vox Day, I went to my local library to check it out. They did not have it, nor did any library anywhere in America except for the Library of Congress, which loaned it to me. What a searing indictment on the religious bigotry of our librarians who are well stocked with books by atheists ridiculing America’s Christian heritage and birthright.

“Apparently it was just an amazing coincidence that every Communist of historic note publicly declared his atheism … The total body count is approximately 148 million dead at the bloody hands of fifty-two atheists, three times more than all the human beings killed by war, civil war, and individual crime in the entire twentieth century combined. (182,716 times worse than the Spanish Inquisition) ” – Theodore Beale, quoted in The Irrational Atheist

In the Mayflower Compact, the Pilgrims declared their intention of planting a new colony and advancing the Christian faith.

Most of America’s Founding Fathers were active Christians, representing a variety of denominations.

Of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence, 24 had received seminary education.

The December 27,1982 edition of Newsweek magazine stated, “Historians are discovering that the Bible, perhaps even more than the constitution, is our founding document.”

After an intensive study of our nation’s religious history, the U.S. Supreme Court declared in an 1892 case, “This is a Christian nation.” (www.apologetics.com)

"So we are we left with Judeo-Christian values and secular left values.
The latter, as noted, hold sway among the world's elites. But they
are personally so unfulfilling and morally so confused that they
cannot work. Western Europe will hopefully awaken to this fact as its
socialist economies fail and as it realizes that you cannot fight faith
(radical Islam) with no faith (secularism). ... TheJudeo-Christian
value system is not only the best value system for humanity; it is
the only viable one. If we do not promote it, moral chaos will ensue.
And we can't promote it if we don't know what it is." --Dennis Prager

Merry Christmas To All

"Eat, drink, and be merry." - Ecclesiastes 8:15

“No human society has ever been able to maintain both order and freedom…apart from the moral precepts of the Christian religion applied and accepted by all the classes.” – John Jay, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and Founding Father

“The Christian religion, in its purity is the basis and the source of all genuine freedom in government.” – Noah Webster

“The general principles on which the Fathers achieved independence were the only principles in which that beautiful assembly of young gentlemen could unite …the general principles of Christianity.” – John Adams

“If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity.” – Daniel Webster

“Our Constitution was made only for a religious people. It is wholly inappropriate for the government of any other.” - John Adams

"I say unequivocally that the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ is so overwhelming that it compels acceptance by proof which leaves absolutely no room for doubt!" - Sir Lionel Luckhoo, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most successful attorney in history

Brilliant Read

Reading Brilliant Creations felt like sitting with someone who understands both the wonder of science and the depth of faith. Jaeger blends scientific insight with biblical reflection and philosophical thought in a way that feels natural rather than forced. What stood out to me most is how clearly he communicates—complex ideas become accessible, even inviting, because he speaks in terms anyone can understand.

The book doesn’t just inform; it inspires. Jaeger’s ability to weave together the physical world and spiritual meaning creates a sense of awe that lingers long after the last page. For anyone who’s ever felt that science and faith should complement rather than contradict each other, this book feels like a breath of fresh air.

Scammers are exploding. Why work when you can steal. I thought I was doing research but scammers build great websites and tell convincing tales. I asked AI about how crooks could fake faces and voices on Zoom Calls. AI said no probby lem. So be very careful when strangers approach you for money online or by phone, and call several people you trust for help, preferably experts.

I was just rescued from losing mid five figures by Divine Intervention.

Theanthropic principle elevates our existence to the highest level of importance in the entire cosmos. It implies that we are the goal of the universe's existence; it leads to the conclusion that the universe has no meaning without us and that points to a purposeful creator.

And this in and of itself, is a clear indication that the universe exists for our sake. - Dr. Zainab

Gentlemen, let me address you on a very important subject, which should cause ladies to smile and nod.

I thank the Lord daily, several times in fact, for bringing me across the country to meet and marry my angel, with whom I celebrated a Golden Anniversary.

I was kind, but not kind enough. I was loving, but not loving enough. Don't be stupid, like I was. Be the best boyfriend your lady could ask for, and then be the best husband. Women are wonderful, loving and kind. Men fill prisons.
You will look back on your finest deeds with pride and joy. You will look back on your selfish mistakes and shake your head...WHY?

Compliment and help others, every day. It rewards in both directions.
