Yeah, but I'm worried about exactly the same thing that the OP is worried about. I mean the first time was the scariest of all. If Trump hadn't turned his head at that moment he would be six feet under. The fact is he has lazy security and it's a joke! Although I still strongly believe that the first attempt was an inside job.

No question his security needs a MAJOR revamp.
It's unacceptable to have come that close to death 3 times in the last couple of years.
There's work to be done. And it needs to get done immediately.

The Electoral College does not reflect the will of the people. It's just a flawed mechanism. But even that, Trump's margins in the EC (312) were smaller than Obama (365), Reagan (525), Bush (426) , or even Clinton (370).

Melissa Hortman and John Hoffman are their names. Minnesota elected officials, both Democrats, were shot. Hortman was murdered. No other elected official has been shot since 2017. Not a single Republican. Not one.

While the right wing is in a panic attack over this administrations lax security measures the rest of us are looking at a very long era where zero republicans at any level have been assassinated, or shot, while two democrats have been shot in the same period. One, Melissa Hortman, losing her life.

Just a few days after the third attempt on President Trump's life, Democrats backtrack, gaslight and play "whataboutism". These people aren't playing the long game. Think: what if the next attempt is successful?

We haven't had a president assassinated since John F. Kennedy Jr. It would stop the nation, and make President Trump an even more grandiose figure. It seems Democrats can not even begin to imagine it. Add to it that this is not the early 60s. Our political rhetoric is off the rails, and there's PLENTY of fodder for Americans to point fingers in the Democrats' direction.

The only comparable example was JFK's assassination. 65% of Americans today think JFK was killed as part of a conspiracy, and a lot of them think LBJ was in on it.


But JFK wasn't hated the way Trump is. JFK didn't go out every day and post AI images of himself shitting on the American people.

If anything, I suspect if Trump got assassinated, a lot of people will ask if JD was in on it.

In all instances they are easy to stop low effort attempts that never get that far with competent security. I dont know if it is the SS or Trump himself.

Many of us have not seen a sitting president assassinated in our lifetime. Think of what a big deal it is when a former president dies. Now imagine that for the sitting president of the US. The images of Vance being sworn in---aside from the loss of life (we know Dems don't care much about that when it comes to Trump), the visuals ALONE would be a disaster for them, esp if the idiot wrote a manifesto like this latest loser did.
